When I first heard YESTERDAY by Ray Charles on my first Ray album, when I was maybe 15, I was like "Ohhhh! _That's_ how it was meant to be!"

I later found this was true of pretty much all the Beatles songs that Ray Charles covered. Every single time it was a divine revelation. He was the all time master of music amd esp its performance. There will never be another creature on this earth as wondrous and marvellous as Ray.
