As a teenage Preacher I was having a hard time of not being able to do what others were doing (I am Homeschooled they are public schooled) I was sick of going on and ready to throw in the towel and quit on God, my call to preach and Religion in general. The rest of my family went to a church meeting and I faked being sick to stay home and try to figure out where God wanted me. I popped my earbuds in, turned on my Pandora to the Country Gospel station and this was the Second song that came on. The first was Merle Haggard singing "Why me" I replayed this song about 20 times and wept through the song every time. This song has given purpose to the Valley of life and has given me a reason to keep serving God.

This means so much to my mom because when her dad had cancer when he was about to go she sang this song before she never got to see him again. I only got to see him when i was little and at 12 years old, i dont remember him that much but i do have pictures with him that i will charish forever. My mom has just recently been singing this song a lot, and she never sings it because she breaks down crying because he is not here with us anymore. I lost my best friend 3 years ago as of last week. me and her became friends when we were 2, she got diagnosed with leukemia and moved to Dallas Texas for treatment when she was 6. On her 11 birthday i called her to wish her a happy birthday, but she was not picking up her phone, so i called her brother, also my boyfriend and as soon as he picked up he said" Babe, Annie passed away a couple of minutes ago u need to get on the fastest plane out of there and get here. It was so hard to not just here that she passed but it was more hard and hurtful to hear it from Annie's own brother. This song is hr favorite song. When she was having a bad day i would sing it to her and then we would both sing it. Me and Annie were inseparable. We went everywhere and did everything together. She now would of been 14 years old. Every year on August 30st at 10:30 am we fill up balloons and write a message put the message in the balloon and watch the balloon float away and hope she gets the message. Her birthday is August 30th @ 10:30 am and mine is August 31st @ 10:30
