Dam the Ramones were a really good band.

Too slow. Even the original version has a slightly faster tempo.

All of the Ramones are dead. One of the most important American bands in history and one of the least listened to when they were trying to pay their bills. They changed my concept of music. An amazing band that changed American rock music.

Funny - and rather curious - fact: Richie plays drums on the video, Marky was the drummer on the album in all but one of the tracks: this one. He was too intoxicated to play, so Billy Rogers, from The Heartbreakers (Johnny Thunders', not Tom Petty's) recorded the drums from this track.

Not only this but the woman at 3:27 (shades / red top) is Marion, Marky's wife.

Absolutely LOVE the Ramones and have written about them many times on youtube and my old G+ channel but the Chambers Brothers original is the go to one. This doesn't really add much.

All Ramones covers are great. Awesome little ditty from the Chambers Brothers.

This song's at least 2 to 3 times longer than any Ramones songs I can remember. Generally they play songs that are short & to the point.. the way Elvis Costello's record releases used to be at the very beginning of his career.

U h h h h, the song was released in 1967 by the Chambers Brothers, who wrote it. I'm actually surprised that the Ramones did as good a job on that ancient classic. Of course I still prefer the one from 1967 because well, those were special days. At least I'm pretty sure they were. There are some gaps.

68´ and I´m at The Fillmore. Chambers Brothers. Time Has Come Today is the first tune. I decide it is the best song I had even heard. 50 years later and I see this title, no idea they ever recorded it. Say what ya wanna , The Ramones had the attitude.
