This song reminds me of a girl I knew. When I met her she was going through a nasty divorce where she was mentally abused. We had been dating for awhile but I wasn't able to get pass her shell. She wasn't able to trust again. Even though she was worth the effort I was frustrated and close to giving up. I was driving home from a date with her and thinking about ending it when this song came on the radio. Felt like it was worth fighting for. We have been married 11 years now.

Best song on this album "Unnecessarily Mercenary". Bonnie is a soul alike as far back as I remember. How someone in a hippie music store knew it and told me to buy my first album is a mystery to me. Been with her since then, every inch of the way! It is like when I am in a blues mood, these songs are first up and out of my soul.

They play this every night at my job and it grew on me. Just got off trying to light one up with it
