Such a beautiful song!

Heard this song on Howard Stern. He played a benefit concert for Howard Sterns wifes animal rescue then wrote this song after according to Stern. It is apparently written from the animals perspective of being rescued. After watching a few live videos I'm not sure if that is true, but regardless it's still cool to listen to this song from that angle.

I've had a difficult childhood and life, but I was blessed with the two most beautiful boys I've ever known. When they ask, as kids do, about my childhood or life before them they aren't always happy stories. They're so sweet, they tell me they're sorry or they wish it didn't happen, etc. I have always told them not to feel sorry for me b/c if anything had been different I wouldn't have them. This song moved me beyond words. 💕
