Queensryche - Warning Lyrics
I remember I was asking why
And someday you said I'd know
All these years, of fighting hard
And now it's finally come too close
Oh, couldn't it wait a few hundred years
Destiny can't rest you see, now it's time
Time to cry your tears! Now cry!
The child of centuries, forgotten in time
You talk in circles of rhyme
Seer of places future and past
The warning you gave us is surely our last
Warning!
Behold the child, his pointing hand
Is raised in solemn grace
His eyes once wide with learning wonder
Now leave stains upon his face
Now see the hands of the working man
He's leaning back against the wall
Once busy hands are idle now
Standing ready for the fall! Our fall!
The signs will come as days past by
For those that claim to see
The blind will stay not choosing to die
Not believing the visions I've seen
Warning!

This is where Oprah meets Metal and Geoff's second to none voice shines
This song is co-written by Billie Joe Armstrong. The same singer/guitarist for Green Day?

The singer sounds just like Todd La Torre. Amazing!

THE NEW QUEENSRYCHE WILL NEVER MAKE AN ALBUM THAT WILL EVER BE A MASTERPIECE LIKE THIS.NOBODY CAN FILL GEOFF TATES SHOES.NOBODY HAS A QUEEN OF THE REICH OR A TAKE HOLD OF THE FLAME.ETC
This album came from those who knows what was coming. It really is a warning for the world, all humain on earth. It is not just songs. But man of good are fighting already for us all. More and more open there eyes and see the truth. For i.. will not let the evil do what they want. This time it will be over for them. Who they are? Zionistes et freemason. Now you know. Jusice will be done.
Aside from all of the obvious references of how incredible and powerful Geoff Tate and QR were in their prime, one of things that resonated most for me then, as it does now is their timeless sophisticated writing that was miles and miles apart from many other metal groups of the time who wrote superficial tunes about girls, parties, parties, and girls. Their intelligence was so much on a completely different level, and now so many years later nothing screams of metal perfection to me as does this their first release The Warning. A journey of the incredible from start to finish.
Don't SAY You were NOT WARNED.
🏴💙💔🐧😿😻⚖️🐾
the first lefstist metal band decades before rage against the machine appeared on the scene
cover reminds me rennaisance album
qndo era jovem achava que era iron maiden....grande banda

Damn... This song is so prophetic, people don't understand the state of the world right now! Heed the WARNING!
Another great Metal Mania band!!!
WARRELL DANE(RIP) CLOSEST VOICE TO TATE imho* FROM THE AWESOME BAND ( NEVERMORE)
I didn't know Warrell Dane died! Nevermore has always been a favorite band! Just happily reliving the past with this excellent Queensryche record, and now I'm sad.
Gonna go listen to Dreaming Neon Black. \m/
More notably from the Seattle band Sanctuary!!!
" WARNING" this song is Badass!
Geoff Tate mes amis. Sounds a bit like Michael Kiske but with better songs
THE WARNING// EPIC// TOP 10 GREATEST METAL ALBUM LIST
this is one of those records with eternal relevance
Geoff still has great voice. Just has limits on total range but manages it well.
Limits on his total range. But his range is 4 octaves unusual. And in key.
Warning: This Songs Rocks🥁
The greatest heavy metal/hard rock vocalists of all time, in no particular order.
Geoff Tate - Queensryche
Rob Halford - Judas Priest and Fight
Ronnie James Dio - Black Sabbath and Dio
Bruce Dickinson - Iron Madien
Whatchall think?
leebob86 all four are staples of my collection. You're only missing Michael Kiske.
@Salty Kraken Geoff Tate, Rob Halford And Bruce Dickinson.

D. O. A. L.A I can't think to busy headbanging and pretending to be a drummer
Check out the review that a vocal teacher who just recently heard Geoff's voice said. She was completely blown away!!! As we all are!!!!
@Brennan Fry, right!!!!
people in the usa have been warned three decades of not noticing our dictatorship prestdent,now it,s way too late,the evil money always wins these days
That evil you speak of, Israel. The synagogue of satan.
The high note after 3:30. Who cares if he lost his voice. How about what he did in THIS SONG !?
Dark Ambient I mean that kind of vocal power isn't going to last forever, people need to leave it be and realize how good he was.
Geoff Tate.
Amazing song !!!!
My favorite track off this ALBUM SO BAD ASS BRO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😁😁😁😁🙏😮😮😮😮✌️✌️✌️😀😀😀😀😀

Queensrÿche, my favorite band. :o
Mines to bro mines to Classic music from these guys
Same here
Its not queensryche without geoff tate, his voice put them on the map, the rest is crap, period, pure metal.
I saw Queensryche last night and Todd La Torre is a beast...he wasn't crap that's for sure.
@kvnjking
ok fair, but hes not geoff
I dont think Michael Kiske sounds like Tate, But John Cyiiris sounded a lot like him during Agent Steel period
WARRELL DANE(RIP) OF NEVERMORE// CLOSEST VOICE TO TATE*
SUPEEB!! A TRUE METAL GOD! HE CREATED HIS OWN STYLE AND PHRASING.
Well, I ever heard actually ....
Listining now...This is the best metal mixing I ever seen... everything instruments we loved perfect in this álbum...
@Eugene Blyther, it's all coming true right now.
@rbagel55
Ironic, the band said the mixing was terrible
@Turniue typical musicians, and over perfectionists. That's why they never
seem satisfied with their sound on shows and albums, always something to nitpick at.
@Turniue *©omomomomomomz
rbagel55
I thought it was because they didn't have control over the mixing
Gawd, how I loved Queensryche in the '80s!!!! They were such a talented and amazing band. The debut e.p., The Warning, Rage for Order, and Operation: Mindcrime were just astonishing pieces of work.
@Louis Csanko Give Condition Hüman and The Verdict a chance. They are both very good. I saw Queensrÿche live this year and they were excellent.
@DixieDawg71 which version?
@Louis Csanko Queensrÿche with Todd Latorre was the version I saw. For clarification, there was only about a year or so with 2 Queensryche bands until a judge declared Geoff Tate’s band would no longer be Queensrÿche. (Geoff Tate’s band is now called Operation Mindcrime) The last 3 Queensrÿche albums were with Todd Latorre fronting the band. While it’s sad that Geoff left the band it allowed for a new burst of energy and creativity. There are some very good songs on the latest 2 albums. Keep an open mind when you listen and I think you will find some new songs that you get hooked on.
Well said. Sadly after Operation Mindcrime they went downhill
No Chris Degarmo then i'm not interested. I liked them up until about 94.
Great track
bize bu parçalar 80 lerde pop gibi geliyordu
Fan since 'Warning
What a lyrically gnarly band. Not zinc paying soo much attention to Rushs lyrics do I now trip on Queensryche. I always knew the songs but made up my own lyrics to more than half of them. Damn, What good writing lyrically and musically
Epic... fucking... band! Fan since my 80's teens.
