A succinct clearly communicated overture

I think one of my favorites from PIL.

So the only awareness I had of this song was from the trailer for Freejack (1991 sci-fi movie starring Emilio Estevez, Renee Russo, Mick Jagger & Anthony Hopkins) I saw when I was a kid. I had literally never heard this song in full...only a 5 or 10 second snippet. A couple of weeks ago, Freejack popped into my head randomly and I decided to go back to finally watch the movie. Then this song popped up from the deepest darkest recesses of my memory due to its association with Freejack. And here I am, 20:40pm, 21st of May, 2018 finally hearing this song in full for the first time ever. LOL!

Awful! Liked PIL’S first single and Religion. But 99% of their stuff was an annoying dirge of noise and wailing. Lydon was much more enigmatic to me when he was with The Pistols and before mtv. This doesn’t age well at all, nor does Lydon

lol these clips are so bad and low budget, but so pure and artistic

High budget for 1987. Just look at the set, props, extras, costumes and smoke effects. There is even a groovy animation. Branson and Virgin Records must of splashed out for once on a PIL video!
