Project 86 - Take The Hill Lyrics
My shortwave intercepted a transmission
From another dimension
Decoded in waves of radiation
White noise and whispering
And this was the message:
You were meant for distinction
And for importance you were destined
I ran to share what I’d learned
Consumed with elation
But to my amazement
The elders wouldn’t listen
They said, “Shut your imagination,
There is nothing beyond the visible.
Devote yourself to the legions,
You left me here for dead
But I’ll see you again
You thought that I’d relent
But I’ve been through you and back again
The cover up attempts
Your cold misdirection
Your wave of propaganda
Has now been uncovered
Unmasking your deception
Has fueled dissemination
The endless motivation
Snowballing like infection
Still driven to dispel myths
Still escaping the sinking ship
Still dropping flaming arrows to the middle of the village
Still dodging their attempts
Still fighting indifference
Still amassing countless numbers as we march to take the hill
As we march to take the hill

Project 86 Take The Hill Comments
I have listened/heard watched/saw, you guys go from Blackfoot band into LEGEND. I have seen your emotion, sweat, and yes, even BLOOD. It all comes to bear on the unwillingness to give in, surrender, conform, feed the beast. I AM STILL HERE. FROM THE BEGINNING. I unloaded your equipment when you were sick and still played furiously. THERE, when you fought the DOCTRINE. FOUGHT THE DARKNESS HIDING IN THE LIGHT. The wolves in sheeps clothes. I remained. I heard. I felt. NOW. I HEAR. I FEEL. I AWAIT THE NEZxt INSTALLMENTz. You were there then, so far beyond your time. I AM HERE NOW. I NEED YOU. THE WORLD NEEDS YOU. You were meant to prepare then. You are meant to AWAKEN NOW... face first to the earth... WE await. WE NEED the SOUNDS of WAR again. Please old friends, REMEMBER US. We remember you
hell yeah. bridge and final verse are frickin' epic.
SO GOOD. one of the best songs project 86 has EVER done.
Yeah, it's good stuff. Got this album signed.
To my greatest surprise Project 86 has never failed me. I always think, "Andrew can't do it again" then he always pulls through and takes me on a rollercoaster. I wish I was half that talented.
If i hit the "like" button would that make you feel better? :D (Im not the one who disliked this song btw)
