This was a great scene in Krush Groove with Sheila and her band.Eddie M on sax. The Steph he mentions towards the end is Steph Burns(or BirnBaum is how he is credited on the album Romance 1600), Sheila's amazing guitarist at the time.

💜The RASPBERRY BERET VIDEO has animation in it. The story goes that it was all going to be animated but Prince showed up and told the animators to leave that he was taking over.
When it debuted the animator's laugh because the animation was bleeding into the live images. But Prince received praise from the critics because that was the first time that had ever been done. Prince also put out some comic books. I would have loved to see some animation for some of the songs from the 1999 album.💜

The animation was ridumentary to mediocre at best. The estate can afford to do better, heck hire Peter Chung. Doesn't Prince deserve the best quality for an animated series? This is yet another example of the get the cash credo by the estate and to heck with his legacy and what projects "they" choose. Although, "Originals" was by far the best thing the estate and "Warner Brothers" has put out since Prince's transition. The estate doesn't give a 'expletive' about what Prince's "friends" want. Really, the estate and WB still gets theirs.
