This was one of the most disappointing shows. I remember doing the PPV. Larry Graham was like a weight around Prince's neck. Kirk was an awful drummer. It didn't seem like he wanted to do the show, but did it because it was expected and it was easy money.

I was at that one omg thanks to my roommate who did music with him. Most memorable time of my life💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 long line outside in the cold..waited forever for him to come out. He really was very short. He would sit at this little bar with his high heel boots and just watch everybody. He had security all around him. I could litterally reach out to him if I wanted too. They said if you do we will tackle you lol I was all of 120 pounds 5ft ...I should have done it anyways but he didn't speak

Half the music on backing track; Morris miming the harp part; Kip Blackshire yelling over the top of everything; Maceo sounding like a fish out of water; Larry Graham with his cutesy dance moves; and that utter creep Kirk J on drums... the Rave period was a real low point. Shame, as this is a cracking track on the album - great fun, and with Michael B on the kit, too. 😎

I MAY have chatted with him on AOL but he was being anonymous and I cannot say for certain, but he/NPG Music Club did send me a free casette tape of "The War" and I don't even know how they found me since I had last communicated with them from my college address. Those of us who were huge Prince supporters - I think he just knew. I was broken hearted when he died and my college gf even messaged me to say she knew I would be because SHE knew me. Love Prince - always - and hugs for you, Christa Sweey, because I know you loved him too.
