I think because people first heard this song from Mazarati is probably the reason people like their version better. But then again I am one sided when it comes to Prince because I like 99% of everything this musical genius does. I just love everything about him.

Prince liked to support Black owned businesses. That’s why he took all of his music off Spotify and gave it to Tidal. Jay Z paid him UP FRONT for it and Prince says the deal was “very lucrative”.

After the killing of Freddie Gray, Prince went to Baltimore and had a show. He invited Freddie’s family to the front row. He donated all of the money to programs for kids in Baltimore and Jay Z matched the donations and flew in Trayvon’s and Mike Browns families.

Jay Z started the Tidal store just to sell Prince’s music. Prince streamed concerts there and had Purple Pick Of The Week playlist. He treated Prince like royalty when the others were acting like Purple Rain was his last album. Tidal had 30+ Prince albums when Spotify had only 13.
I don’t care what they think of him. When it came to Prince, he gave mad respect and reverence.
