Presley, Elvis - Tomorrow Night Lyrics
Tomorrow night
Will you remember what you said tonight?
Tomorrow night
Will all thrills be gone?
Tomorrow night
Or just another lovely song
That's in my full heart to linger on?
Your lips are so tender,
Your heart is beating fast
And you're willing to surrender.
Tell me, darling, will it last?
Tomorrow night
Will you be with me when the moon's bright?
Will you say those lovely things you said tonight?
Tomorrow night
Will it be just another memory
Or just another lovely song
That's in my full heart to linger on?
Your lips are so tender,
Your heart is beating fast
And you're willing to surrender.
Tell me, darling, will it last?
Tomorrow night
Will you remember what you said tonight?
Tomorrow night
Will you say those lovely things
you said tonight?

Presley, Elvis Tomorrow Night Comments
This haunting song is Elvis gold!! I believe he releases a new version in early 60's. this one RULES!
check out the original by lonnie johnson
What a classic !! Listening to this cover and the original there we know why they said it was white with the voice of Negro !!
I thought I had every vocal nite Elvis ever recorded but this is the first time I've heard this! I've been listening and loving the bo since 1959. And I do have the Sun Collection but not this!
Elvis is so overrated. Lonnie Johnson's version > this one
Basically the beginning of his career and already the greatest rock singer ever !!!!......
To me, this track is astonishing! This is a nobody from nowhere in a poky Southern studio with nothing to recommend him. Yet here he is, Elvis, living his dream. Where did the voice, the drive, the passion come from? He is so damn sexy, when that was forbidden. Insistent. Hot. Sultry. I just keep asking myself, how could he have developed this drive? His mother?
Sam Philips seemed to allow him to record anything, realizing the talent that was there. But this song, surely, was unreleasable! It's almost aural pornography.
But Elvis, as always on the Sun sides, delivers the goods in full and, as listeners, we all gain and are enriched. Thank you, Elvis, thank you, sincerely.
Terrific critique! Yeah, it's almost TOO intimate . . . brilliant track. Another one is Elvis' unique treatment of the old popular song "Blue Moon." No happy ending. Eeriest piece you'll ever hear.
@Robin Markowitz I must agree. I can't recall a bad version of Blue Moon (check out Al Bowlly's version) but Elvis' version is otherworldly in a way that no other is. When he starts keening, it makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Still, after all these years. And yes, his choice of narrative, the lack of "suddenly appear before me", combined with the eerie vocals, demonstrate a mastery beyond his years and his success to that point in time.
@Tom Beveridge It's the definition of genius. Everyone almost instinctively anticipates the "and then there suddenly appeared before me . . ." It's a song everyone knows practically from birth. He didn't admit it, but it was clearly deliberate. And add to that the unique wail! Totally unexpected. Yes, it produces goosebumps! Every single time. It's like he's walking on the banks of The Mississippi on a hot, foggy night, wailing into the mist, his collar turned up.
Perfect
The King
This is not Lonnie Johnson.
This is why Elvis was, is and always will be the King Of Rock and Roll.

TOP KING
the ambience this song carries makes me feel so serene
haunting perfection
this song was a tune by Lonnie Johnson
creighton the historian Yuppah (; Guess it was worth it going to the crossroad.
Creighton Lonnie’s version wasn’t even the first.
@Master Kota But it was most likely the version Elvis heard and learned. His vocals on the early Sun Sessions are clearly inspired by Lonnie Johnson (amongst others).
Love the voice of Elvis...the biggest!!
how good was he?
too many people see the caricature of Elvis as fact. They do not know the committed, instinctive, and ferocious vocalist he is not was. Is
I live in Memphis and you never hear tunes like thus on the Elvis channel (XM/Sirius) ,,, NOR do you hear great stuff like this at Graceland
If I Owned a bar this would be the last song played on the juke box at the end of every night
John McEvoy I wish there were bars that played classic music with a good DJ mixing. ..but all my generation listen to is..Annoying toilet sounds. or Slow not even good stuff.
John McEvoy I would come to this bar every night
John McEvoy I love this idea!!
John McEvoy What a great idea. Maybe you could take a copy of the song to some bars in your town! 😎
Excellent let me know where abouts and I'll come sing it to my new gf
La splendida giovane voce di Elvis!
Divino.
The. Voice. Forever. Killer.
Seems to me if there's a dude out there somewhere that thinks he can sing like this, he'd better be at it. This stuff would still sell. Big-time. Easier said than done.

This is a Lonnie Johnson tune from the 1930s done very well by Elvis....20 years old when he did it....!.......great to hear this one again....thank you for uploading this....Joe Nania a.k.a. Hollywood Joe
You "do shit like that for a joke"...maybe that's why he is the biggest rock star ever and no one has ever heard of you. This recording is almost 60 years old and people are still listening to it.
God the reverb is pissy. He had a great voice as a young bloke but that reverb ruined it . I do shit like that as a joke.
Best version!
