On of my all time favorite songs! These ladies were so smooth- I love their voices! There is so much potential with the new artists today, but they ruin their talent on singing about dope, revenge, greed and give an anatomy and physiology lesson in the most vulgar of ways.

Always loved this track... from a time before acts had traded their soul and talent for looking like cheap bedraggled whores “singing” through auto-tuners and having to have endless boobjobs and 20 backing-dancers on stage and in their preposterous multi-million dollar musicvideos.
I once saw the Pointer Sisters live... many, many years ago... something went wrong with the PA and they did all the rest a capella... and people in the back of the hall could actually hear them... loud and clear. Such troupers.

As a kid growing up in the 70’s. I remember my parents listening to this song and many others. They are both gone now. If I could just turn back the clock for about an hour or so .

This has long been one of my favorites. I also like Blinded by the Light (Manfred Mann). *The only one who records crappy versions of Springsteen songs is Bruce himself.* Sorry.

Those two songs were turned mainstream copies of every other song popular in that decade and thus reached high popularity. You never heard any other Bruce song but think you`re capable of making conclusions. People like you are the reason world is full of shitty pop songs that sound the same these days... Stay quiet if you lack knowledge!
