It was when i was looking for it. I had gone through a number of albums until i had seen this and learned of Hells Ditch. Still at long last i have it.
I am working on a backing track at present to be hopeful that i can play this live. Does anyone know if there is a backing track already out there some place?

The Pogues i love them. This number Sayonara is rare as hell i heard this years ago , had the album it was on.Lost the tape and could never find this track until it was played one night on Talk Sport so i rang the station they told me what it was called and here i am! Found it at long last.

Lyrics are easy to find; but basically I think it's about a whore in Asia, probably with from the POV of a GI or an American. "Go on Yankee break my heart" Mekong Whiskey, Hong Kong Flu, "Got new papers in a Bordello" etc...
