Y que dialoga con el célebre poema “Llanto por la muerte de Ignacio Sánchez Mejías” de García Lorca. La propia canción que da título al elepé es un homenaje a Jean Genet, escritor francés epítome del outsider, visceralmente extremista, habitante de las zonas de sombra de la sociedad: “La vida es una puta, y después mueres / Infierno negro / En la cuneta del infierno / Desnudo, aullando por la libertad / Las manos del asesino atadas con cadenas / A las seis en punto empieza a llover / Nunca verá de nuevo el amanecer / Nuestra señora de las flores” ».

One of my favorite folk songs, one of my favorite punk songs, one of my favorite Pogues songs and one of my favorite songs of all time! It's been for years, sounds fuckin brilliant every time.

This was played at the part in the film where Martin intercepts Debi's father Bart as he is jogging; right before Grocer has a chance to carry out the hit on him. It's towards the end of the film before the final gunfight at Bart Newberry's house.
