Plant, Robert - Turnaround Lyrics
Walk around in my life
Keep your money in your hand
Look out where you're heading mamma
Don't go running blind
Shine light and strut it out
Watch out for the strange cats
When the strange cats crawl around
Keep your eyes wide open
Hold your head up high
You are now a stranger here
So much changes with the side
Run out of fortune
She would lend a helping hand
Do not turn your back on the lady
Don't turn around
Just look away
Don't turn around
Just look away
Dancin' down main street
And it's good to the stroll
Ain't time to look around
It's time to get out the hole
No one cares about the fool
Who longs to find the gold
A thought to own a chance to plan
and sacrificed his soul
Don't turn around
Just look away
Don't turn around
Just look away
Then you find it's up to you
When you'll know you've got it
Then you're glad to could be true
Then you'll know you've lost it
Paper lap but I did find
Your money's in control
Just bide your time a second more
And it's mine before you go
Stop a while to count the tears
In view from afar
The pain of love is put aside
The time for healin' starts
Don't turn around
Just look away
Don't...
Then you find it's up to you
When you'll know you've got it
Then you're find to could be true
Then you'll know you've lost it
(An' an' an' an' an' an' an')
And you've got it
An' and he's got it
Aw you got it
You got it
You've got it
We got it
They got it
We got it
Everybody's got it
Oh
But keep yo' money in yo' hand
Ah no...

Plant, Robert Turnaround Comments
Great song,album,singer and decade.
Awesome stuff
❤️🌹
Dammit...every "lost" or "bonus" track from Robert Plant's solo years that manages to see the light of day always has me asking "Why the heck did he ever leave it off an album." This one is no exception. Thank you for posting this! Never heard this one from my fave singer.
Mark - Same goes for Far Post.
He may have thought it not fit the feels of the rest already on the album. Or maybe there was some other more mundane thing link total minutes and the limitation of LPs. Vinyl was still very popular. I don't know... a mystery wrapped in an enigma.
@Lars DeRuntz Just not a great song to me. Waiting for it to go away!
@glenn farez get comfortable. Gonna be a long wait.
J'adore !
