Not a Pink Floyd album nor a good album. It was really a Waters solo album full of direct, personal, political references. It was also full of material that was rejected from The Wall. It was the beginning of the end.

The reason why this album isn't massive is because it's DEPRESSING, and that's just not pc these days!  Great album, nice follow-on from 1979's The Wall...

This album reminds me of shoveling snow. I had just gotten this cassette when I was around 15 in the late 80s. I popped it in my walkman and played it over and over while walking around the neighborhood shoveling snow.

My favorite P F album. Something about it like no other. I'm 46. Heard it when I was 13.

I love how this song uses the horns. Not only is it cool to hear different instruments outside the modern standards like guitar, but they perfectly fit the mood the song was going for, I think

2:11 is still my favorite moment of any Floyd song. Always loved it. As awful as Roger Waters' voice is, it's special in its own way when he's shouting and the double tracking is spaced out every so slightly to give him a bit of echo. Gives me chills
