Everytime I listen to this song, I feel like I'm talking to my self, like myself is just letting everything I had on my chest in all my life and I'm there to listen to myself and understand what I been going through like I'm my own bestest friend ever.

At one time I had ALL Pink Floyd recordings on vinyl. I moved house and they "disappeared" and they moving company had "no idea" where they went. Sure!

I can't really say that there's anything from Pink Floyd that I dislike. But I would say that this is one of my least favorite albums with Summer '68 being the song I like best.

I love this song.

You know, considering that this song was written by Roger to most likely be from Syd Barrett's perspective, if you were to listen to this song after listening to Wish You Were Here, that could a real punch in the gut of emotions. They could be interpreted as a back-and-forth between Syd and the band. Wish You Were Here would be about Pink Floyd questioning if Syd's making the right moves whilst missing him, and If would be about Syd reflecting on all his bad choices while making the decision to move on.

This is timeless music and so it will be for years. No nowadays' singer or band can be compared to Pink Floyd or others (a few) of that time. I am now 60 years old, though appreciate that music although I listened to it so many times, always something new in between music and words.after so long time.

This album contains nice lullabies,but this is not an advanced alternative music,do you realize what I want to say?

You miss the whole point. If you don't understand it; either get high or quit listening.

But it's not trying to be that. You have to understand the context. Judge something for what it is. For example, I don't expect Floyd to have the hard rocking sound of Zeppelin but on the other hand, I don't expect Zeppelin to have the prog rock and psychedelic rock sound of Floyd.
