If I could somehow come back to Earth 200 years from now, I know that Pink Floyd's music will be playing somewhere and it will... it will haunt me... I will shed tears of joy, of feelings I can not express in words. For the world is a better place, and always will be because Pink Floyd existed in a blink of time... and never ever ceased to exist. I wish I had discovered Floyd sooner in my life... I feel like I missed out on days and years without such beautiful and deep music and art... what loss it would have been if I (and the world) did not experience the phenomenon that started in London in 1965

Back when this album released, diehard Floyd fans bashed it. As a lifetime fan, I have this opinion: The Division Bell is a culmination of everything this band has done, distilled to a pure form of artistry and beauty at a level of perfection that only decades of honing can accomplish.

Many people still bash it, though. I never liked Division Bell, even after I gave a listen...that is, until I gave it another listen and then another, that the album grew on me, and is now one of my favorite albums.

Not sure, they have the CD at Barnes and Noble for $15. Sounds about what I remember. Vinyl sounds a bit different. Higher highs and lower lows. Better mid in my option. IMO, vinyl records have a better sound.

The way Gilmour plays guitar is just unbelievable, his solo's are slow with fantastic construction and tone of the guitar is just incredible, he is digging into your soul so deep that tears must start running.
