They meant well but 25 years later I think agreeing to do so was the worst decision of my life. I went from being happy to being responsible and really haven't been happy since.

1 month and 4 days!!! Goddamn I CAN"T WAIT!!!! It's been far to long. I saw them many times before but it's been over a decade. I've seen Trey solo and Oysterhead since but nothing like the real deal. I'm hoping for a strong dose of pre-Billy Breathes material but hey, whatever trip they wanna' take me on, I'm good. I have sworn to saty totally lucid this time around. My younger days were a bit more indulgent therefore I have a lifted memory of every single other Phish pilgrimage that I've made...so now at a much older age, I am remembering this one in total.

I know your comment is very old, but I can't agree more. Trey doesn't have to have an amazing singing voice at all. He is an incredible song writer and story teller. I haven't lost interest in Phish for 7 years straight. Still my favorite band of all time

The commercialization of YouTube is not indicative of a trend towards fascist control of the internet. I'm not suggesting that there isn't the potential for the internet to go that way, but it won't be because of ads on YouTube. Napster was awesome, it also took days to download a song. How fortunate we are to have the opportunity to listen to so much music on demand and only having to endure a 5 to 15 second ad vs. an entire afternoon of panic that gramma would call and disconnect the dial-up.

Listening to an ad for 5 seconds is a pretty good trade off to have such a vast library of Phish tunes to listen to on demand. The world is as we create it, consciously and unconsciously. If you learn to take the good with the bad, you'll start to realize that there is much much more good than bad. If not...you'll experience the opposite.
