Thankful heart, even during the hardest part of my life. I've let Him down and will not stray the path again for I know this is why my life is falling apart. Forgive me, for I have sinned and fallen so short.

Petra the first Christian music I ever bought. I had just been born again 1989 and I was a big gunz n roses fan . but God changed my taste and I could no longer enjoy that music. so I went to a Christian book n record and with a quick prayer that God would lead me to some new music I went into the store to look at the tapes, the album more power to you almost jumped out at me, so feeling like this was what God wanted me to have I bought the tape without even hearing it.. I put it into my car player and wept tears of joy with every song. Petra blew my socks off. "With a little help from the Holy Spirit". I love Petra like no other band ever... GBU  Petra I miss you..

My story is pretty similar. God turned my music desire around as well!

In the end there's only you lord who is worthy of all praise!!!!!

@dgasten - i hear the similarity you're talking about, but the two are actually quite distinguished from one another.

It's pretty much ripped off of Journey's "Send Her My Love", but who cares; it's still a great AOR ballad.

To me there is no comparison; neither musically, lyrically, nor spiritually. The genre of both songs is similar, but Journey's music cannot be considered inspirational.
