Peter Green - Uganda Woman Lyrics
Woman, how you move me
From mountains to the sea
Woman, how you soothe me
Your voice so wild and free
Uganda woman
Dark eyed queen of beauty
I call across the land
Woman of dark water
I'm falling to the sand
Uganda woman
Uganda woman
Like the tall trees need the sky
I need your warm arms
Like the eagle needs to fly
Uganda woman
Uganda woman

Peter Green Uganda Woman Comments
I might be wrong in here but to me Nigel Watson seems to be a proper friend who brought Green some "normality" into his post - Fleetwood Mac life. I have the impression he has halped him enormously over the years. Just typing this cause some people see it the other way around - as an opportunist who appeared in Peter´s life to extract whatever he had left and make a name for himself in the process. Dunno ...might even be a bit of both even if I tend towards the latter version.
Thank you for posting this!
This version is a bit faster than the newer version that the Peter Green Splinter Group recorded for their "Time Traders" album.
@bretonbanquet

@maida1982a Homework / Come on Down and Follow Me was a 1970 single by Clifford Davis, Fleetwood Mac's manager. Peter played guitar on it and arranged it, I think. Davis also did versions of Before the Beginning and Man of the World. I'll try to upload them when I get a chance :)
@bretonbanquet
