Paul McCartney - My One And Only Love Lyrics

The very thought of you makes my heart sing
Like an April breeze on the wings of spring,
And you appear in all your splendor,
My one and only love.

The shadows fall and spread their mystic charms
In the hush of night while you're in my arms.
I feel your lips, so warm and tender,
My one and only love.

The touch of your hand is like heaven,
A heaven that I've never known.
The blush on your cheek whenever I speak
Tells me that you are my own.

You fill my eager heart with such desire.
Ev'ry kiss you give sets my soul on fire.
I give myself in sweet surrender,
My one and only love.

Awavesome rendition .Fantastic band and PAUL Mc CARTNEY's voice is better than expected in this sweet song as after the last note he looks as surprised I am .

  2. C.... L....

This old coot should have given up a long time ago.... he has no range and his voice is on the verge of cracking. Oh Sir Paul this Sir Paul that. Go away!

    C.... L....

Do you sing from Bb ( 475.20 )to F (1396.71 ) as he does in this song ?

  3. J.... T....

Sting knocks it out of the park. McCartney sounds like he's a mouse.

    J.... T....

Yeah sad but true. I love McCartney but this sounds spooky, like a dark cartoon...the human eating zombie devours a victim in this rendition

    J.... T....

    Sting slays it

    J.... T....

Sting is good, but you guys have to hear Johnny Hartman sing this with John Coltrane.  The vocal kicks in about halfway thru.

  4. F.... C....

    Is she Diana Krall?

    F.... C....

    Francesco Cossentino certo!

    F.... C....

    yes she is!!!

Missing out quite a few notes
With love ,stick to pop Paul!!

    R.... G....

Actually I don’t think any of them do
    studio musicians reading dots
    who can’t play jazz ?

  8. C.... L....

Dean Martin best version of this song by a country mile! Deano owns this song.

    C.... L....

    you're damn right Chris.

    C.... L....

No, I checked Dean out, and I love Dean's version - but wait - you've got to hear Johnny Hartman with John Coltrane.  The vocal kicks in about half way thru, and I swear, Hartman is the best on this song!

  9. L.... D....

such a beautiful arrangement , but Diana should have sung. Still i bow to Mr P..one of the greatest song writers x

  10. J.... K....

    Respect for taking this challenge

    360p is not HD.

  12. E.... B....

    Beautiful

  13. C.... D....

why is he even trying? Voice gone and, even when young, not suited at all for the Great American Songbook.

    C.... D....

Have you heard Johnny Hartman sing this with John Coltrane?  Check it out.  Hartman's vocal starts about halfway through the track.  I agree with you about McCartney.  When young and with Beatles-good stuff.  Why do these rockers want to mess with stuff their not suited for at all.  I only wish Hartman had been with this orchestra!  Please check out the Hartman version!  Thanks, your friend, Flint

    T.... S....

The legend that he is has been singing for several decades...i still appreciate what he can give to us. A fan from the Philippines..peace and love to everyone!!

Mr McCartney should keep his mouth shut.

    w.... b....

When McCartney is in his own genre he's good, but I agree with you that these rockers should stay away from this stuff.  Have you heard Johnny Hartman sing this with John Coltrane?  The song was just made for Johnny Hartman.  I'll go check out the Dean Martin version now.  I think the Rod Stewart thing, as nice a guy as he is, was mostly a novelty.  Even Kenny Rogers made a miserable attempt at singing standards.  And I love him in his own genre.  Of course the dangers of crossing genres works both ways.  I once heard Peggy Lee sing Blood, Sweat and Tears, "Spinning Wheel."  It was a joke!

  16. I.... B....

Ez borzasztó! Poor Mccarty seem to have lost all of his singing voice!
P.M. úgy énekel, mint egy 102 éves vénasszony - tragikus :o(
