Just my interpretation of the whole album on top of what the band have said themselves. It's about dealing with death and I kind of see it as the stages of grief, so this is about the anger stage? Just my thoughts on it haha!

I love PWD but this song is very repetitive same beat very “radio” metal sound

People who hate this like the awful screeching screams from their horizons album. I think his vocals have improved but the music could be better like the early albums, though I do like the input of violins, gives it a more real/medieval sound

There are very few bands I can stand when they change their style, but parkway drive is the biggest exception for me. Killing with a smile will always be my favourite album from them, but I love their transition, it's still parkway drive, they've evolved their music as they've gotten on, and you can see it in their craft, their execution and their shows. I don't listen to them as much anymore but they will always be my no. 1 band. PARKWAY DRIVE!!!

Only now, reading the comments, I am learning about the meaning of this song and album, and now I feel like telling a story. This was their 1st song I heard. I wasn't a fan before obviously, because I didn't know about them. I heard it not even knowing the name of the band and I thought it was a perfect song. Simple, and perfect. Now I feel that way about most of their songs. I'm a fan ever since, and understanding the emotional meaning of this work and the path that led to it only makes me adore them more. The fact of the matter is that some fans just don't like the new direction. It's okay for them to experiment and change their style, but theres no law saying we have to like it. August Burns Red changes their style and sound literally every album and have not received the backlash this band has. I dont know how you can listen to the likes of Deep Blue or Killing With a Smile and then play a track like this and hear the same band. Plenty of bands change their sound all the time, sometimes people like it, sometimes people dont, but its really ignorant to hate on people who dont like the new sound and challenge their appreciation of the band, there is no logic behind that at all. Also whats with calling it "mature" what about changing your sound is "mature"? Iron maiden made the same shit forever and nobody calls them immature
