Pantera - Throes Of Rejection Lyrics
This is feeding what I am.
It's like salt poured into a deep, infected wound.
It's the type of pain you really dig and long for.
I've always been insecure to open up and show love.
rejection...
The kind that's self induced.
The tongue that's bitten through.
The nauseating stab.
Is feeding what I am.
A short fuse.
She let me taste that sugarhole and of course, I wanted more.
But no. I'm reduced to a Rottypanol snort and a lot of drinks.
This shit goes on and on. Just look down my pants.
Rejection...
It ain't a fucking game.
My human dick to blame.
A sociopathic plan.
Is feeding what I am.
Rejection...
Takes life away from eyes.
Will give you to the skies.
It makes me more than a man.
Is drowning what I am.

Pantera Throes Of Rejection Comments
Why does everyone talk about breakdowns? Th best part of this fucking song is the goddamn solo.
Breakdown, you mean the thing a guitar player does with one fucking finger?
Fucks sake.
I've been listening to Pantera for a long time yet I only found out about this song because of TenSecondSongs
Omg same shit here
2:45 is when the fun begins
Soul crushing outro
This is the song that got me in to PANTERA
The transitions .. Wow ... Dimebag \m/
Craziest shit you’ll ever hear in your life is when the cassette tape fucks up in the deck and ends up flipped, playing the solo backwards from side A. Your eyeballs will be smoking
0:56 GO!!
With the headphones this part Is Amazing 3:00
Guitar solo is just fukn retarded sick
When talking about Pantera I feel everyone gets major props except Rex, guy is a amazing bass player and such a character.
Rusty Kuntz all I can say is Rex and roll✊
RIP Vinnie...a year ago today....thank you for all my great times \m/. #getchapull #pantera #cfh
Super heavy!!! #dime
This breakdown is much heavier that in Domination. I guess eventual breakdowns on TGST and RtS would be so low, a man could not hear them. Well, that's actually how it is! A pity nobody notices the breakdowns on the last two albums ;(
Pantera no matter what always playing loud with my collection of metal ... Phil the vocal god, dimebag the god of guitar thunda.. Pantera the kings of metal..
That Intro is epic reminds me on Quake2
Fuck that bass could cure an entire ear clinic from deafness
One of the best (heaviest) albums in history of r 'n r!
I just want to know what the fuck is wrong with the 24 people who dislike the greatest pantera songs of all time?? can someone enlighten me please?
20 fucking years. dude, what happened.
Godzilla quit destroying Tokyo because of the breakdown. He had succumbed to defeat, because he discovered something heavier than he is. He cowered his head in shame, and had to admit defeat.
Getting to the point I can't play this in the car anymore...can't believe I haven't crashed yet totally awesome tune....
Best Band dime best
Rejection is fealing of what I am
God they still sound fresh to me lol !😎💪☝
5:02 the wrost part of the song
I hope the guy who killed dime is getting a dime v guitar shoved up his ass daily in hell for what he did
Ozzy might be the Prince of darkness but he dosnt have shit on the cowboys from hell they are the metal gods and will always be stronger than all
The end of this love is badass too
Dimes solo is just fucking amazing.
Whole album from start to finish is just a masterpiece, has always been one of my favorite
4:00 makes u want to headbang and take shots of whiskey
And destroy everything in my path
OH YEA ! ; }

Insecure to open up and show love. Some pretty girl with
Long hair, some bald guy writhing.

If there really is a god, then it's punishing me constantly.

Max lift song or max rep song. It meets both requirements for maximum strength training
guess u can say it gives u strength beyond strength
I'm sorta glad Pantera will never reunite....whenever bands who for whatever reason break up around their prime & then get back together 10-15 years later it's never as good,I can't honestly think of 1 band that has pulled it off...let Pantera keep their legacy intact as the best fuckin metal band EVER!!!! I wonder how stupid Metallica felt when they softened up their sound to be more mainstream & then 4 years later this album debuts at #1 on the Billboard charts?😂....still the heaviest album to do so 24 years & counting...we miss you Dime & we miss you Vin 😢but you will live forever in millions of hearts
Metallica is my favourite band, but I have to agree with what you've said
this song and becoming i think are the two heaviest songs pantera ever wrote
RIP Vinny nd Dime
That solo ... No words but amazing the breakdown flawless ...
This is REX time!!!
A fucking master piece.!@
R.i.p Vinnie!
Rip Vinnie Paul 💔
Rest In Peace, VINNIE PAUL!!!
RIP VINNIE
Song just fkkn rips. And the breakdown is amazing AF!
Them two sets of kick ass drums need to be in the song more often
those fucking tom triplets
THIS IS FEEDING WHAT I AAAAAAMMMM
This is the shit that made me the metal head I am today 🤘🏻
I don't think it's possible to cover this solo and actually sound like him.
maybe I bet i could
You could but it wouldn't feel like his solo. You just need the same Dean guitar model, the same half stack, and the same settings. Of course, I'd never hope of sounding like Dimebag, as cool as he was. Copycats suck.
why not?
Hard solo to play for sure!!!!!
unscarred Dime has stated in the past that the effects combos he used on certain songs will be almost impossible to figure out. Someone could get close, haven’t seen much yet. Maybe Kenny Giron is as close as I’ve seen. But I don’t think most human beings can legato that lick like Dime period...
This is being what I am! Best metal lead in ever or whatever you call it
This is FEEDING what I am.
Set speed to x0.75 for a black hole.
Thank you for the tip
Rip dime bag Metal god
This Song Is F..KING
AMAAAAAAAAAZING
KICK ASS SONG \m/
PANTERA FOREVER
I FKN LOVE PANTERA
AND THIS ALBUM IS HELL DAMN HOLY SHIT KILLER BRUTAL AMAZING YEEAAHHH
\\m// \\m//
Vinnie is going hard as fuck on the drums
😎😎😎
I could easily see this song on Reinventing the Steel. Mature and powerful era of Pantera.
Musically? maybe, lyrically? Not even close, lyrics on RTS are pretty much shitty, except for some cases.
@Rodrigo Ibarra not shitty. Just not at the same level as far beyond driven.
You could say Far Beyond Driven was on "A New Level."
@Rodrigo Ibarra I disagree. I think the lyrics on Reinventing are amazing! I love the anthemic feel they give.
one of the best breakdowns in metal history, so fucking dark and heavy
and my comment was 69. You people suck.
that's right. my like was six eight nine. six ate nine motherfuckers.
at 3:10 it was a wrap makes my ass hairs go up Everytime I listen to this
Best song of the album imo, the intro and shit is just badass!
DIO che assolo di chitarra... Darrell era un esplosione e per me uno dei migliori in assoluto nel panorama metal.. RIP sei stato un grande
Thank you for uploading the whole album in HQ!
Got to see Phil in LR. Got some closure.
00:00 -00:02 the best part of the song
Wow, this remaster even sounds better on a phone. Thick.
This sounds great but so does the original. Why do they continue to remaster albums that already sounded perfect the first time?
excu$e for more $ale$
So far I prefer the originals of the songs I've heard. It's terrible when they cut out instruments, let alone pulling back Dime's volume! I've seen Pantera from the pit 26 times. I know every word. This is their best album. Vulgar and Cowboys trail slightly.
4:00 best part
Acoolguy 1067 0:00 - 5:02 Best part
true true man!!!!
Holy fuck that bass is unreal
Rex FUCKING Brown, Dime gets all the credit & deservedly so but Rex gets no love far too often.
RIP Dime
Yeah.
Probably one of the top 5 Pantera tunes in my own opinion.
Yeah.
Probably one of the top 5 Pantera tunes in my own opinion.
That dude in the Windows 10 ad really sucks at guitar. He only wishes he could be Dime.
What are you talking about?
Warhead about an ad
What are you?... what?
Certified Gold!!!!!!
Certifies Gold!!!!!
The best song on the album
For me it's the worst.
I do agree : best song and best solo
no, best songs are i'm broken, use my third arm, slaughtered, and strength beyond strength
play this album on 1.25
kick arse...PANTERA forever....
DIMEBAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry Domination
ehi ehi ehi don't kidding
Dominations breakdown is like a steel toe boot in the ass this one is ok
Hell no lmao that breakdown is fucking badass but Domination has the ultimate breakdown. Nothing comes close.
Igor Fonseca strength beyond strength though
Exactly!
only one better Pantera breakdown Live in Russia version of Donination
doninanion? WTF
THE SOLO MY FUCKING GOD
Might be my favorite song on the album
\M/!!!!!!!
gotta be the hardest song ever written
Honestly there's heavier songs on this album alone imo. Strength Beyond Strength, Slaughtered, and Use My Third Arm are heavier, and 5 Minutes Alone and 25 Years are contenders.
You havent heard the grat southern trendkill by them.
+Colton Naff one this album bub but yes great southern trend kill kicks ass
Trendkill is a great mix of heavy and mellow, underrated album.
Brian Sadowski If by "hardest", you mean "heaviest", not really. It's not even Pantera's heaviest song. If you mean "hardest" as "hard to play", it is actually a ridiculously easy song besides the solo. If by "hardest", you mean "fucking badass", then you are right, sir...
That bass tone is epic. \m/
yess, sounds like fucking drums.
Rex brown is a legend
Am I the only one who thinks the breakdown on throes is better than the one from 5 minutes
@animu swag it makes the stranger headbang too...you just can't help moving your head when Pantera "throes" it down
Competition for their own songs? They're red hot after the Vulgar tour. I'd jizz to both.
you will NEVEEEER be the only one bitch
and the solo is mich better than Floods’s
They're both uniquely epic you can't compare that looks like apples to oranges
RE-
JEC-
TION!!!!!
so good..
THAT GUITAR SOLO THOUGH, GODAMN! And the ending punches the fuck out of u, Christ!!
My favorite Dimebag solo by far.
My top 3 for sure!
+Dustin Dunbar its the cure for cancer
its actually the hardest solo of dimebag,he gave his skills in that solo :)
That breakdown at the end of the song is so hardcore.
It's even better on the ending of Becoming on the 101 Proof Live, cause Rex adds some Cliff Burton type wah bass. Apocalyptic !
Kick ass song. So cleverly written
Joseph Rivera
