Palmer, Robert - Don't Explain Lyrics
Hush now, don't explain
Just say you'll remain
I'm glad your back, don't explain
Quiet, don't explain
What is there to gain
Don't explain
You know that I love you
And what endures
All my thoughts of you
For I'm so completely yours
Cry to hear folks chatter
And I know you cheat
Right or wrong, don't matter
When you're with me, sweet
Hush now, don't explain
My life's yours love
Don't explain

Amazing rock tune
Some musicians are great songwriters, some musicians are great songwriters. Robert Palmer, however, is a fantastic interpreter of music.
Happy Birthday Mr. Palmer . Should have been 70 today here in 2019
For those of you who are fans of both Robert Palmer and Coheed and Cambria, there are some songs by Coheed and Cambria including, Ten Speed of God's Blood and Burial, sound a bit Robert Palmer-like because of the rhythm sounding a bit alike.
I liked this song from the moment I first heard it when I bought the album. My only complaint is that the line, "Your mother should've told you, you fall in love and then," sounds like, "Your mother should've told you, Your father loved men."
good rock song!!!
Flip side of the 'Cassingle' in 1990 was 'So Emboldened'. Really a great song, to be found here on YouTube. Recommended.
Love this track... haven't heard it in years, but damn does it reek of Steve Stevens!
STEVE STEVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
