Good songs are good songs. Many good songs go under appreciated these days and that's kind of sad. People don't appreciate raw sound anymore. They're looking for that one hit song that is really slamming and well polished that is an unmistakable big song and throw the rest away if it's not that one big fucking song. Sometimes simple is better. Sometimes less is more. Dig it.

Hi Tim, It's a new album of Ozzy? Why it's called Ozzmosis?

Blueberry I have no idea. that's what the cd was labelled. I thought they were discarded songs. I know they aren't all new tho because I had snippets of some of the songs back when ozzyhead was a active forum.

I did get this info recently.

The title of this disc is slightly misleading. Although all of these recordings are related to the Ozzmosis album, they are not actually from the sessions for Ozzmosis. The tracks on this disc come from two projects that preceded the Ozzmosis sessions. ..

...nine tracks are from sessions Ozzy did with songwriter/producer Mark Hudson (fame Aerosmith & Ringo Starr) for an as-of-yet unreleased album called Ozzyland. These sessions most likely took place some time in 1993 or 1994. It is not known where they were recorded.

...three tracks come from sessions done with engineer/producer Michael Wagner in London in 1992. Wagner was hired by Ozzy's record label to produce the intended follow up to No More Tears. They told him they wanted an album exactly like NMT. Eventually the record company changed their minds and wanted the album to sound more in line with the grunge movement so Wagner was fired and the sessions with him were abandoned. The record execs hired Soundgarden producer Michael Beinhorn who produced Ozzmosis.

A handful of songs from both sessions were resurrected and re-recorded during the Ozzmosis sessions. \m/

And to expand upon that, the sessions with Michael Wagener were done with Ozzy, Zack, Mike, and Randy - the NMT lineup. Michael is a personal friend of mine. He gave me copy of the entire sessions which do not circulate. Some amazing stuff on there and killer to hear NMT production on tracks that ended up on Ozzmosis.
