Owens, Buck - Pitty Pitty Pater Lyrics

Well, the pitty, pitty, patter of a little bitty feet's
Gonna pitty, pitty, patter through our house
A gonna be a comin' in June, gonna stop our honeymoon
'Cause the pitty, pitty, patter of a little bitty feet's.

Gonna pitty, pitty, patter
Through our house
I gotta be a thinkin' of a name
Yeah, there's gonna be a great big change.

Gonna be a lookin' for a bottle in the middle of the night
Lookin' for a chance to hold mama tight
A washin' little diapers every day
A big doctor bill I'm gonna have to pay, pay, pay.

Oh, the pitty, pitty, patter
Through our house
I gotta be a thinkin' of a name
Yeah, there's gonna be a great big change.

[Instrumental]

Gonna be a lookin' for a bottle in the middle of the night
Lookin' for a chance to hold mama tight
A washin' little diapers every day
A big doctor bill I'm gonna have to pay, pay, pay.

Well, the pitty, pitty, patter of a little bitty feet's
Gonna pitty, pitty, patter through our house
A gonna be a comin' in June, gonna stop our honeymoon
'Cause the pitty, pitty, patter of a little bitty feet's.

'Cause the pitty, pitty, patter of a little bitty feet's
Gonna pitty, pitty, patter through our house...

My mom was pregnant with my brother at the time and my oldest sister was pregnant with my nephew. This All happened before I was born. My sister called Mom and said- guess what?? I'm pregnant!! Mom said OH hush So am I! LoL. My brother was born in September of 1959 and my nephew was born in February of 1960. One of the most distinctive voices in Country Music history! No one sounds like her...her voice is unique and one of a kind and beautiful! I met her once at a concert and she was the sweetest person and put on a heck of a show that would, put today's female singers to shame!

Australia has some great country singers. Gina Jeffreys for starters.

"Tippy Toeing" is the song you mean. Hardin trio, and Loretta Lynn covered it on one album. Great song.
