Owens, Buck - In The Palm Of Your Hand Lyrics

I dance every time you pull the string
I cry every time you treat me mean
I lie when I say we're only friends
I know I'm right in the palm of your hand.

In the palm of your hand that's where you've got me
Yes, Loving you is messin' up my mind
But try, yes I may, I just can't stop me
You've got me right in the palm of your hand.

[Instrumental]

I laugh every time you have a fling
I hurt every time you cause a scene
I lie when I say we've reached the end
I know I'm right in the palm of your hand.

In the palm of your hand...

  1. d.... ....

This song is definitely better than the original version that Buck released in 1965. The original was slow compared to the shuffle sound of the newer version.

Thanks Buck, BUT Marsha Thornton gave this song LIFE !!! That velvet voiced lady should have amazed the world with her rendition of this tune.

  10. J.... W....

Jerry on pedal steel, Don on guitar and fiddle and Jim Shaw on keyboards.

    J.... W....

Jim West actually, Ralph Mooney played steel on this album, I think. I know that it's him on Ain't It Amazing, Gracie.

it sucks when somebody has you like that.

  16. K.... M....

Buck had so many singles on albums that were never released because he was so popular that they would stay on the charts for months....so, he has obscure songs people never heard in his amazing cataloge of music history.
