Oldfield, Mike - Altered State Lyrics

Who's gonna get your virgil
What's going on
Who's gonna get your home
Where's your mummy
Where's she gone
Who's gonna get your virgil
Who's that mummy
I don't know
Who' gonna get your home
Are you dead mummy
Don't think so
[male voice ad lib]
Kin ke-se key ke-se
Aah yee-hey
Aah yee-hey
Kin ke-se key-se
Aah yee-hey
Aah yee-hey
Aah yee

Who's dead
I don't know
Tsk tsk now
I don't know

Ho ha ho ha ho ho ha ha ha
Ha ha haaa
Ho ho ho
Ho ho ho
[male voice ad lib]
Who's gonna get your virgil
What's going on

Who's gonna get your home
Where's your mummy
Where's she gone
Who's gonna get your virgil
Why that's funny
Don't know mummy
Who's gonna get your home
I don't know
Are you dead mummy

Who's gonna get your virgil
What's going on
Who's gonna get your home
Where's your mummy
Where's she gone
Who's gonna get your virgil
Why that's funny
Don't know mummy
Who's gonna get your home
I don't know
Are you dead mummy

Kin ke-se key ke-se
Aah yee-hey
Aah yee-hey
Kin ke-se key-se
Aah yee-hey
Aah yee-hey
Aah yee
[male voice ad lib]

    Still here!
This song is appropriately named! for theTubular bells effect on us thus far.

  4. M.... ....

This is what happens when you lock yourself in your recording studio for 48 hours I imagine. Bottled mania! Love it!

    M.... ....

A very similar thing to that happened during the recording of the original counterpart of this, Piltdown Man, on Tubular Bells. That time had Mike down a whole bottle of Jamestown Whiskey! At the same time Mike was pissed off because Richard Branson wanted lyrics on Tubular Bells! Mike also shouted to Branson, "lyrics?! I'll give you lyrics(!)".

  5. M.... Y....

how was this not played in labyrinth?

    M.... Y....

Labyrinth was in 1986, this was in 1992.

    Does that answer your question?

  6. D.... S....

Wonderful binaural stereo with the vocal parts.

  7. E.... P....

Qui c'è tutto, al massimo livello: qualità, fantasia, esecuzione, tensione, rabbia.... That's Mike!

  8. M.... R....

Somehow... Mike Oldfield... Made the Monster Part... Beautiful...
Truly one of the greatest musicians of our time. Definitively better than the first "Tubular Bells"

  12. T.... H....

    I love being alive

    ¿Dónde esta tu mami?

Well, this is... different. The rest of the album has a pretty clear theme and style and then there's suddenly this. And also "moonshine".

    F.... ....

This follows and expands on the original TBells.

    F.... ....

    It's fantastic!

On the first listen I didn't like it at all, then I tolerated it for some time and now I am looking forward to it when listening to the album. It sounds really off, but when you listen to it couple of time, you realize that the themes are still the same and it fits the album quite nicely.

@Christopher Heinig I like all of the Tubular Bells albums very much however I enjoy Tubular Bells II the most.
