Ohmygosh. I discovered OMAM in 2015, shortly after My Head is an Animal was released. I have been craving their music ever since then. Just found this! This will help me retain my sanity for a little while longer while we all patiently wait for album three. 2019 people!! This is the year!!

Very early OF MONSTERS AND MEN. The six core members and the lovely Ragga Gunn. That's when I've loved them best! --- This is a very beautiful song. Many people, including myself, are asking why this was never officially released. --- Is that Árni Guðjónsson I hear playing accordion? --- Why oh why did Árni leave this great band? --- Oh I still love this band, but I wish they'd keep it simple, like before their 2nd album. --- What I mean is, they're best in concert with just the 5 main members plus Árni's replacement, plus the lovely Ragga Gunn, and THAT'S IT!! They don't need anymore. --- Can't wait for their 3rd album!

Nick Madness, Arni left the band to go back to Iceland and study music and teach also. I wish he'd stuck around myself. But unfortunately all things are subject to change.

The best way to describe this song is just that it's really pretty. It's not that deep or hard hitting its just a light cheerful tune about the mundane mechanisms of life.

These un-released songs are so good that they basically could have released a second album before Beneath the Skin... So why didn't they? ':(
