I remember, when I saw Of Mice & Men they had just the three albums. Then they released this album. I listened to this album a lot! I really liked the rock style of this album. Then slowly I found the heavier ones... Now I'm just listening to them... I like this album but my favorite albums are The Flood and Of Mice & Men. It's interesting, that when I found them they had just the heavy albums, which ones I don't really liked, then they released this album and I listened to this a lot. And now I'm just listening to the heavier ones, which ones I don't really liked... Sooo no you isn't the only one who is love this album, I also like it a lot, but right now I'm just listen to their first and second album, because somehow I really like them. I was in their concert last summer (sadly without Austin) and it was so cool! And it's great to see that Aaron isn't stopped the band and now they released their new album! By the way sorry for my English, I live in Hungary and I just started learning English in September, because before that I learned German... So that's it!

Since everyone is comparing OM&M to LP, those are the best comparisons. To be honest doesn't Restoring Force feel like a bit of A Thousand Suns and Living Things? And I'm going to be a fan of both for as long as I am around.

not a very good example tbh. the reason im giving shit to this song and the whole album in general is because it doesn't feel like of mice & men. you used the depths as an example but in that song from what they put out it was like their self titled and the flood. this is way too soft nu-metalish to really be called true om&m. I think people have a very valid reason to bitch about this coming out.

I find it rather important to highlight the fact that saying this isn't "true" OM&M makes no sense, because this _is_ OM&M.. Irregardless of their direction, how they proceed with their musical style is completely down to them, and although I absolutely love Shay and the old OM&M music with their contrast, this is also still good. The mixing and production of this album has only improved whether you approve of the music they've released or not. A good example of the same kind of route is Linkin Park, who have got progressively heavier over time, with now some more electronic and experimental stuff. Are you gonna howl on their pages about how they've "changed" and are no longer "true" Linkin Park? Just thought it worth mentioning.

I for one think they've matured and the album is actually extremely heavy, plenty of screaming, it's more refined, yet still raw.. the knife bleeds as it cuts through the souls mark. if you've been paying attention.. a true fan would give them a chance before blindly rejecting such amazing music.. another thing, again for those paying attention, Austin carlile squeezes spinal fluid out of his spine into the tissue in his back every time he screams, so if he put a bit more "less heavy" music I don't blame him you cannot imagine the suffering he must be going through. Google it. then come back if you still wanna troll, ACTUALLY, I've always believed the mark of a truly exceptional band is one which can do heavy and slow, beautiful melodic songs equally well. like btbam they can do any style, they are more dynamic, unconfined to your definition of good, more intelligent, more talented. period.
