At the start I thought it was about the Amish or something. Then when they walk in the woods I thought I was going to see human sacrifice.

So an Amish woman died, and is now free to wear pretty clothes and dance expressively and really smile and be free; her friends are mourning her and dancing around the fire as "ghosts" to sort of "be" her and send her on her way to a happy eternity?  Or I'm wrong. Either way. :-)

Interpretation time. The blonde in the pretty dress is the ghost of an Amish girl. These Amish girls were in a rebellious goddess-worshipping subculture. They went to the countryside to have a pagan service to remember their friend, whose ghost looks on but does not participate. She's more free and sexual because she's passed on. The girls all look sad except for her because they are in mourning.
