Fucking love this song

Like Noah's style of singing and many of his songs but repectfully honestly I don't like these lyrics,I see more hope in this existence,and believe we more than just birth and death...there is a Holy Ghost with us .... for awhile anyway.

We Watch and Pray We're awesome with or without superstition, and as an atheist I admire the first part of Noah's musical career, songs like "Jesus, Jesus" and "Oh, Death". I don't thunk perception is something that can ruin a song.

Eden Project got a song out called " Rock + Roll" and there's a reference to atheism that made a lot of people dislike the song and explicitly point that fact out in the comments.

I know what you mean Calin.I don't think it ruins the song.I write songs too, a song is a song ..comes from your perception of life and influences and inspires folks for good or evil..The melodies he plays are always beautiful.some have said we have similar styles..is just that some of the lyrics hurt me and puts me in sorrow for those who believe this is all there is..I 'm not preaching ,but I think it's good to know people have other ways of belief ,it's comforting actually know we are not lost.It's strange we know so little about our world and yet if I ask someone about the complexities of the universe and the wonder of life which even the most hardcore scientists they say they have no idea.How how how,can it be that when you ask about the idea of God,everyone is all of sudden sure there is no God ,with no question..very strange..I don' t want to turn this into an argument....though..I am going to go listen to "Red House Painters" a song called (have you forgotten.)..chill band! +writinginrutland Thanks a lot, my man. I still can't believe how easily we blink and miss artists like this. I got a job that makes me listen to some 700 songs a week and write short ten-twenty lines about them, and it's absolutely fabulous. I hope I don't lose my hearing anytime soon, but I've listened to over 15.000 bands and singers in the past year, and artists like this pop up on a regular basis. 2-3 a day that absolutely baffle me. :)
