This song was the one that defined 2019 for me according to my Spotify and I'm actually not upset with it.. This year has been more downs then ups and so many times I've felt awful but, I'm still here and while I've lost more than I've gained, I appreciate what I have because otherwise I'd be so lost and maybe wouldn't of survived this year. There for, Life goes on indeed. Thank you music for the comfort you can provide that nothing and no one else can.

The best artists in the world are actually doing something else because they didn't come from rich families and had to have jobs to pay off debt after school. Unfortunately, the world will never know because we embrace empty headed rich kids like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran who could go after their dreams because they knew they would never starve if they failed. Now the world suffers from mediocrity and a lack of great art because we embrace singing shows of rich kids who paid for voice lessons. If you can't write you aren't actually a musician. Same with science and medicine. Doctors have to come from rich families to afford medical school. I never felt like any doctor I've had since med school was so expensive actually gave a shit about me. When you make things expensive, only the rich can afford to stay rich . . .the true nerds are blocked from having the lives they want because it's a popularity contest of mediocrity now. Thanks for making it impossible to have great art and geniuses in the world. We will now only have mediocrity in every category. we will never have a renaissance again.

i dont even know how i found this band anymore, i think this was the first song - then five years, then i bought all four albums and savoured each of them. i listen to them all every month, i make a point to do so.
but the point isnt how i found them, the point is that i did find them, or maybe they found me. i know they're no longer a band, but their music will remain forever and life does go on, and its bittersweet. but my god, i am so thankful for this song. this band. this music and my life right now in this moment.
