Nile - The Black Flame Lyrics
Withdraw Thy Phallus Baboui
Open the Gates of the Duat
For I am Burning in Aataakhu
Chains Bind Me
Flames Encircle Me
Open
For Me the Gates Shall Open
Over the Fire of the Spirit
The Breath Drawn by the Gods
Arise Apophis Return
That I Might Return
Borne by the Flame
Drawn by the Gods Who Clear the Way
That I Might Pass
The Gods Which Sprang from the Drops of Blood
The Phallus of Set
That I might be Reborn
For I am Khetti Satha Shemsu
Seneh Nekai
And Will Become Set of a Million Years
Akhu Amenti Hekau
I Shed My Burnt Skin
And am Renewed

mahhhboiiii
sanders is a genius!! i love NILE!!
And I'm renewed!!!!!!
The beginning of the song with Karl Sander's voice is very dark.
Sorry but for me nothing is better than you guys (reference to the description)
necesito un psicólogo o no lo se pero tengo un severo cuadro depresivo bipolar en desarrollo

awesome
I think this guy just detests bands more popular than Necrocannibalistic Vomitorturium of Satan.
I love the voices in the beginning. So relaxing...
So scary.
Karl thought the fan may have been a thief.
I remember that I first heard of Nile as they were featured in a magazine called Brave Words 'N' Bloody Knuckles in around 2000. "I was totally about to do my metal duty and take this guy out" - Karl Sanders in reference to a fan that was found near Niles tour bus. They also go play on the University of South Carolina College radio station. Nile are great!
@latinodude85 Death metal will never be mainstream man. Just open your eyes, you cannot call "mainstream" a music with blast beats and cookie monster vocals (which is good. Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad about this fact). "Those Whom The Gods Detest" is just one of their best effort so far (just behind ITDS & the great "Black Seeds of Vengeance" IMO).
this song is so fuckin' disgusting that I seriously wanna punch myself in the face...goddamn Nile is a beastly band!!!
2 dislikes hmm.......thatss pretty friggin EPIC
@thewarlord333 ...i dunno if they loaned it out but i do know dallas composed it w/ an egyptian dude the work w/ regularly to make sure their acurrate...they call his name in the liner notes but its beem a loooong time since ive had the liner notes...or cd case for that matter
@sixfootcorpse
Actually Cannibal Corpse is my favorite, for some reasons but i love Nile since i'm here
Huh I recognize the back ground music in the Intro, its so familiar from something else.
I love all the Egyptian stuff that nile do, it's so great! The atmosphere is so fuckin evil and mystical at the same time XD TRULY METAL
@rozorahk Nevertheless, the black flames refers to the Egyptian myth.
@BroadwayRonMexico morbid angel was part of the "hair metal" death metal and because of them we have nile and other badass metal bands. just saying.
@CannabisMix Dallas is pretty good too.
Nile has been Blessed my the Egyptian gods them selves, and even more so Possessed by them to continue to rule this world even in in death in metal form they rule through nile
@fablan6 Last time a bunch of preppy tendsters infested metal to the extent they do now was back in the 80s when they were called "hair bands". Said hair bands almost completely killed metal as a whole
@ImtheCauseofDeath it's kind of short though.
Sounds great, one of my favorites. I'll have to remember to watch the video response after I listen to the song.
One of their best songs i say
Only 1 thing is worse than those so called emo kids that "pollute" metal. The metal "crusaders" who want to "clean the world" from them... Get a fucking life idiots. Just listen to the music and shut up.
This band has never had a bad song/album haha. By far my favorite band of all tine.
awesome, because i have a diverse taste, i'm supposedly an emo who's trying to act hardcore.
Thumbs up if this is your favorite song from Black Seeds of Vengeance \m/
also I must say, there's a small resemblence between this song, and the Shadow Temple music from Zelda.
@demoniclord91367 Indeed, I can't remember who I replied that to, but hopefully they saw it.
@Sythiis I just took a look at your favourites: Manowar, Blind Guardian, Hammerfall. You seem to be more of a serious Power Metal fan to me dude, but I just cant judge you on those.
now i get it. ok, this might be the weed talking, but hear me out. during the heavy blast beats and aggressive riffs the Gods are angry or disturbed. then during the slower tempo changes and ambient effects, the Gods are at rest for they have accepted the offering or act of the subservient. fkn'a.
@CelestialDependency cant be put any better
great song for the gods
@PharaohJed I agree. This and jazz are, in my opinion, the two most difficult styles to play (other than a classical piece, of course).
spanish flamenco is damn hard to play and master
@cprostudio
HAHA!!! Really? Ooookay then. YOU would know what its like to get bullied I assume.
@666x666Slipknotx yeah and they most definetly do it for the music
I know right, CC has been here since like late 80's
Im not emo or nothing but i like all kinds of metal and im a slipknot fan, people take music so seriously nowadays..... just because im a slipknot fan means i can't like anything else well no one made a rule for metal
@Ninjistic Like I said, I don't really care. I am not the elitist death metal fan you speak of. But they do exist and I can sorta see their point about not wanting their traditions to be exploited to kids for market value. However thats not really me so you're preaching to the wrong person.
What is a "true" death fan? Why can't somebody like both death metal and emo? An emo can be just as much into death metal as some elitist who doesn't listen to anything else.
@PharaohJed how do you figure that Nile is mainstream? Being well known doesn't make you mainstream.
@Ninjistic No, I don't personally care that much. But I know the nature of real death shows, and emo kids will stand out and be targeted because the true death fans don't generally take too kindly to the lil' suburban tweens that have bastardized their scene.
What, you'd actually beat up an emo kid if he showed up at a death metal show? Its too bad that death metal fans are malicious assholes.
@PharaohJed tbh i wouldnt say nile is mainstream anything mainstream would be something thats in the top 40 or something like that
and CC isnt in it just for the money they're in it for the music hence why they've been going so long and if you're intersted in making large amounts of money you dont join a death metal band tbh lol
@Kelter911 What I think is sad is this prejudiced and closed view of the world.. Why are you a better person compared to those (us) who listen to lots of differend kinds of (or just different..) music? I like good old-school(ish) stuff, when it really is good, but I also like music with a newer sound if it's well made. Same goes with jazz and rock and everything. The age or genre of the music does not matter, it's the quality that counts.
ps. Nile, Origin, Death etc. really is kick-ass stuff.
i guess you'd say Alcohollica is metal, but Nile is DEATH METAL
@sixfootcorpse, maybe someone should poison Lar Ulrich, Metallica will need a drummer to fill in for him...
Get George Kollias to fill in for him, record the performance...
People will be asking whos playing drums, people will tell em thats Kollias from Nile, they'll search up Nile, like it, recommend it to their friends, and Nile will be even MORE popular...
Almost seems like a dumb idea...
But think about it...
And Nile are very popular, it would just be a treat to see them MORE popular.
It doesnt really matter if emo's listen to real death metal bands...its not like you are gonna see them at the shows or anything (if they know whats good for them).
There is a difference between mainstream in the underground metal scene, and metal in "reality," i.e. - metallica, ac/dc...Nile are pretty god damn popular in the underground scene for example with acts such as BEHEMOTH, Cannibal Corpse, In Flames ect. But when compared to Metallica...No they are not mainstream. It's almost common sense. But we all know who the better band is. FUCKING NILE.
Nile is so cool...i like them especially bicause they(SOMETIMES) use Egyptian(cant spell) language....
I doubt these type of kids actually like the death metal bands they mention, they just name drop a few of them in the hope that the person they're trying to impress hasn't heard of them and will later look them up and then think that the kid is into metal...
One time a girl (with typical scene hair btw) said that she loved Cannibal Corpse. I asked her what her favorite songs were and she couldn't name a SINGLE ONE! I was thinking "wtf poseur bitch!?"
even worse, they go to the shows too!
Typical emo kid into bad music and likes one or a few death metal bands to make up for his failure and try and make him look hard core.
We got thousands too many of your kind fucker.
irony huh
he has the best voice ever.
Nah I think George is much better with Nile :)
I miss Derek in Hate Eternal though - I monarch pwned.
