Night Verses - Panic And Pull Your Heart Out Lyrics

Broken ghosts inside our minds
Digging up complacent ends
Penetrate the flesh that tastes of mulch
In the cemetery where no one knows

Grab at the sky
Stab at the walls
Escape from the Vault
Panic and pull your heart out

Burning Bones
We bathe in fire
Underneath the city streets
Bloody headstones laced with salt and skulls
In the cemetery where no one goes

Grab at the sky
Stab at the walls
Escape from the Vault
Panic and pull your heart out

Grab at the sky
Stab at the walls
Escape from the Vault
Panic and pull your heart out

Grab at the sky (Grab at the sky)
Stab at the walls (Stab at the walls)
Escape from the vault (Escape from the vault)
Panic and pull your heart out
Grab at the sky (Grab at the sky)
Stab at the walls (Stab the walls)
Escape from the vault (Escape from the vault)
Panic and pull, panic and pull
Panic and pull your heart out!

Night Verses Panic And Pull Your Heart Out Comments

This song sounds like a red hurricane of fire brewing inside a futuristic supercomputer. I like how these new singles have elements that mirror songs from Lift Your Existence, yet everything feels warped and distorted in fascinating ways. I'm happy that there seems to be more variety in this upcoming album, which is also going to be four songs shorter. The only criticism I would give their first full-length was that there wasn't enough variety to sustain fifteen entire songs, so this album could very well be the ideal Night Verses experience. We'll just have to wait and see.

Edit: I love the new album. Not every song is perfect, but it was pretty much everything I hoped it would be. The song "Strange Graves" just might be my new favorite Night Verses song.

Seems like everyone just wanted LYE 2.0. While I wouldn't have minded that, I appreciate a change as well. I think they've pulled it off, and hell, A Dialogue in Cataplexy sounds like it could have been on LYE, so there might be more where that came from if that's really all you wanted. My only disappointment so far is that there's only 11 tracks, and it's not another 15-track, 74-minute monster of an album. But the silver lining? There's a Phoenix III.

Lift Your Existence was Out of the Sky 2.0 if you listen to everything they've ever released. This is honestly a fantastic change in sound while still maintaining a unique sound.

I'm so happy TOOL was able to escape their previous record contract by signing under their new moniker "Night Verse" and move to a much more rich, more supporting record label like Equal Vision.

PLEASE don't pull a letlive. and ditch the post-hardcore sound entirely. None of the singles have impressed me, but I'm not passing judgement till' I hear the whole thing.

    C.... ....

they didnt pull a letlive. because they didn't turn to shit

    C.... ....

What happened to the punchiness from Lift? Not convinced from the 2 singles so far....

    D.... D....

3 singles... Drift, A Dialogue in Cataplexy, and this one.

There are three (Drift, A Dialogue in Cataplexy and this one) singles released and the first one has that punchiness in abundance: https://soundcloud.com/equalvision/night-verses-a-dialogue-in-cataplexy. Hope this goes someway to convincing you.

sorry i meant the other 2 besides this one

Why not rejoice in the fact that they aren't releasing the same album like some bands do? They're doing something new but in the same vein as Lift. I thought A Dialogue in Cataplexy was punchy enough.

I agree with you Taylor I love it and the 8th can't come quick enough.

  7. W.... I....

Still not convinced that this will be the album i was hoping for. The tune isn't bad, i just feel a little amiss about the writing shift.

  8. S.... ....

Less and less excited for this album with each single. What a shame.

  9. M.... H....

Um, "Hanging Garden" by the Cure much?

    M.... H....

LOL. Come on man. You're serious?

    M.... H....

You're actually right :) And his voice reminds me to Robert Smith a lot as well

    M.... H....

haha, wow. I can hear the similarity. Interestingly, both bands have the connection of Ross Robinson, but that song was produced by Phil Thornalley.

  10. A.... V....

I am very much enjoying the diversity in all the tracks that have been released from this record so far. So excited to hear the rest of what they have under their sleeves!

  11. d.... ....

best new band from the past 10 years

    d.... ....

Still a shame The Sleeping doesn't exist anymore, though...

    d.... ....

I think it was a worthy sacrifice. But yeah, I do miss them and regret never getting to see them live.

  12. S.... ....

    fucking amazing!!!!
