New Order - Ultraviolence Lyrics
Who saw those dark eyes
Who saw those dark eyes
These years gone by
Deep within
Burn my skin
In the heat of the night
All those years gone by
Who felt those cold hands
Who felt those cold hands
Touch my skin
Deep within
Burn my soul
Fell to the ground
Where I was found
All those tears ago
All those years ago
Everybody makes mistakes
Everybody makes mistakes
Even me
Just be free
This is a place
Where in the end
It happens in
Our world within
Time to go
Time to go

Who saw those dark eyes?
new order just awesome. stands the test of time
born in 93 I usually hate on the 80s because of my brother and sister always glorifying it but i fuck with new order and joy division
ready for a bit of the old ultraviolence
kinda giving me a bit of a talking heads vibe!
Dedication SWTOR I Zimbra
talking heads are loosers
I loved a lot of bands during this era, but, these guys were right at the top. Amazing band.
This music is art, no doubt!
😍😍/ 💓💓
Sinister and sexy
Why? the people on comments are so ignorant
Quantico brought me here
me too :) ... Quantico S02 E03 end of .. IoI
#Quantico!
it got me to explore their music more
Like the music on there including Season 1 the version of Peter Gabriel's Digging in the dirt
Sometimes I'm glad Ian died sometimes I wished he lived on o don't know who I am anymore.... Haha
new order were the coolest group on earth in the 80s..challenge that opinion! please
They were up there Benjamin, but, Depeche Mode, Simple Minds, The Cure...just to name a few...are right up there with them.
Benjamin Upton Tones on Tail. Coolest 80's band.
Consider that U2 had their heyday at this time, and I think U2 is the greatest band of all time---yet, at the time in 1987, I wasnt listening to U2.... I was listening to NEW ORDER!!!!!
Echo and bunnymen come close but new order is the top dog for sure. just too many great songs
R.E.M., 10,000 Maniacs, The Psychedelic Furs, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, The Church, Cocteau Twins, X ......
such a floor stomper!!!!
Dat doom 95 dificulty
A Clockwork Orange??? :)
Yup. So, my fellow droog, up for a good old fashioned Ultra-Violence?
lol a bit of the old in out in out ... ;)
The Heaven 17
Novel by Anthony Burgess, movie by Stanley Kubrick.
This song is so sexy the bass the drums and Bernard's voice and guitar so well meshed omg could listen to it all day and never get tired of it!
New Order is very crazy, since my adolescence in 1985 i like this band
Wait did Lana del Rey just... oh never mind. :)
Specifically the man who wrote Clockwork Orange was a linguist who suffused his work with fake slang, so I think he probably coined the word itself.
didn't she steal an iggy pop song title too
yep, lust for life... and now the radiohead thing... it's not just "coincidence"
I love this comment
gillian from new order is a fan of lana del rey!! she and stephen actually wondered if she got the name from their song
Some kewl 1988 poetic sh!t! Well done New Order. "Everybody makes mistakes, even me, just set me free." Wish I could have been hangin' with them when they wrote this piece.
Glad you like it! It's, "Just be free..."
:-)
Thomas Valadez those lyrics have been stuck in my head all day. This song never gets old!
Except this song came out in 1983 you fucking muppet
This song is intense !
My favourite song from this album!

Yes David DeLaPaz, you have made an excellent comment. New Order were indeed one of the best bands to come out of the 80's.
Touche!
First time hearing this,good!!!
This is one of the best bands, that came out of the 80s.
Ron Morelli finishing his set at Dimensions with this was too good.
PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Timeless Music.
apparently the title was inspired by the clockwork orange
Why so mean, just because your a pink taco!
Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!
David Rocastle wot they hell is you yapp bout ?
You get it. 👍
@Thethickness1000 Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.
@dang9669 as a former Record Bar employee I agree.
Everybody makes mistakes...even me.
I still love some of this record but Jesus, those drum machines...
Travis Todd that's actually a guy drumming
That's Stephen Morris for you son. I don't blame you though, we've all made that mistake before.
All you kids who missed the vinyl era, you really missed out, all New Order sounds better on vinyl.
My wife is talking to me but i am listening to this.
I love what you just said. Good on ya mate.
ULTRA- BRILLIANT.....
i love this!
as good as the ole in out in out
this my brothers
I saw New Order at Caesars Palace in Bradford Yorks 1984, we were in the mosh pit and when Barney sang "Help me somebody help me" my girlfriend collapsed and had to be carried off the dance floor. That was Karma I said.
@LivesUnderABridge Same story, thanks for the precision.
bam bam bam bam bam tic tac tic tac tic tac tic tac tic tac

wallstv
The title of this song reminds me of A Clockwork Orange. 0_o
p.s. I challenge you to a rap off
@iamtahoe Yeah right! That's disgusting! I would never do that in a million years!
@motomallen david bowie album
Average song by an average band. Not too good. Not too bad.
Kraftwerk and Jean-Michael-Jarre were some of the pioneers of electronic music.
Cabaret Voltaire too
@LuLuKWFL I have. Many times :/
hmmm is this the best new order album? I would say so. But its damn close.
Can hear hints of Blue Monday in it
@davidtrz pretentious, moi?
depro-disco at it's best
You said it TaxCase! This band was ahead of its time. MP3 doesn't do this music justice, get it on vinyl if you can, and play it loud!

Thanks for posting their whole albums up. Hearing the full version of each song is more help in my deciding whether or not to buy this album than amazon samples. And yes, I have decided to buy this album. Eat that, record industry! (I'm so sick of them taking down songs on youtube, when I've bought tons of music because those songs were put on youtube and I listened to them, got into the music, bought it, enjoyed it).
I could drive all night listening to this.
5 stars all the way. One of my favorite albums. I was privileged to be hip to these guys from way back.
Une violence technologique et intérieure émane véritablement de ce son synthétique et du poème hermétique qui l'accompagne. C'est magnifique.
Magnífica canción de mi grupo favorito. Un beso.
