Out of all the songs by Ricky Nelson, THIS is my favorite. Ricky sings with such tenderness and emotion, it seems like he's not trying too hard to do it.

My Wife & I attended most of his Concerts here in Los Angeles & they were always full, may he Rest In Peace, his music will always be remembered

Josephine I don't actually know who Ricky Nelson was as a teenage when I heard him singing Travelling man and from there I like listening 2 all his songs he is really talented n sings very well. I sure miss but his twins sing just like n has his look 2. RIP Ricky Nelson

Roy Orbison comes to mind.but for some reason Elvis was so much bigger.Ricky is way more important to me.Roy to me was always in there also.when it comes to music I have room for all.in a 100 years history will spell this out.

LandonleeL, James Burton almost looks like he's having more fun here than Ricky was.

Don't know why Mr. Nelson always seemed so sad, but this song was his Magnum Opus as far as I'm concerned.

In addition to the great music that he left as his legacy, he was drop-dead handsome. I remember seeing him on "Ozzie and Harriet" when I was 8 years old and I was instantly smitten! My best friend and I used to raid her teenage sister's record collection so we could listen to his latest releases. Good times!

I was in Australia where he performed in October 2 months before the crash. Back home we still appreciate the early rock pioneers more so than in the USA. They played a lot of his records the day of his death but that song stood out. By the way all his concerts that month were sold out,standing room only if you were lucky.

This was very interesting. When did they play it, his funeral, the day of his death or on an anniversary of his death.

JUST MISSED!!! "A Wonder Like You" just missed making the Billboard's Hot Top 10 chart; it peaked at No. 11 and spent a total of 11 weeks in the Hot Top 100 in 1961...
The B/side of this record, titled "Everloving", also came close to making the Top 10, it reached No. 16...

Only the great Rick Nelson could go up against Elvis. I tend agree with another commentator when I say that I also think Ricky Nelson was even better looking than Elvis and was/is never given the recognition that he so rightfully deserved. He was stunningly handsome yet was never a show off.

@creev1 Elvis was incomparable. But Nelson was certainly up there with the rest of the best. Although I am a guy, I tend to think that Nelson was even better looking than E. I think Nelson is under appreciated by most these days.
