This song hit me hard. I just got fired from my job, now that I don't have a job, I can't go to school since I don't qualify for financial aid. I barely made it on my rent that was due this month. I thought about stripping but I don't want to make money that way and prove everyone right.

Actually, this song is a lot better than I expected when I saw the title . . . a deeper message about hard work, following your dreams and, although I'm not sure if I understood "Houston curves" correctly, I think about racism in the dance world too.

it doesnt have to be about racism.. It's about people having misconceptions about others. It could be any race and gender. Its about not being valued

At first I wasn't looking forward to this album cause of the songs that I had heard and I kept comparing it to the year of the gentlemen which is insane but once listening to all the songs it's a pretty solid album (which the exception of a few)
