I woke up dreaming about this song early this morning. Here’s the thing: until now I had only heard it 2-3 times. I couldn’t even recall the song or the group. A cup of coffee later followed by some hard concentration, and I found it straight away! It is truly a remarkable piece of music. But then, so many things by The National are. Their music even permeates my subconscious thinking, which is no small thing at this point in my life.
