can't believe i found the guy who sings this song. anyway i love this song the words, lyrics everything. this song has so much meaning. also i might of heard this song on the hit tv show One Tree Hill. couldn't get it out of my head. now i know who sings it:):):)

If you didn't look up the meaning, you wouldn't know this song is about divorce. It's beautiful. It would make a great first dance song.

"All the wrong things on fire." "Even at my best, I wanna let go." "It's all that I can do to be with you, just to be with you." Sounds pretty obvious it's about the end to me.

Ehhh...I can understand a wedding meaning. It's perfect for someone who is afraid to take that leap. A fearful, maybe even insecure type?

It's a song about worrying about treating someone with the love and respect they deserve.

Actually it's not. The whole album plays out a single relationship. This is a mid point where they are still together just trying to find each other. Basically after the honeymoon phase is over. His song Falling Apart is where it turns and the relationship is over.

Watching One Tree Hill again, gonna miss Lucas and Peyton :(

I hated Peyton but loved OTH!

Omg I hated Lucas and sometimes Hayley

This was the song played on the episode we were going to see Lucas and Peyton last. Along with Whitey, Karen, Lilly and Sawyer. One of the most painful episodes I've ever watched. But episodes like these have taught me how to handle the pain, let go of the bitterness of the world and just live. One Tree Hill is the best TV show ever, always and forever.

I miss one tree hill so badly it actually hurts. I know there's people who can empathise with the way I feel because it played such a huge significant role in other people's lives but omg I miss this show every day of my life. I wish it came back, with Chad and Hiliarie but the realisation is that it never will.😭 This OTH episode was beautiful btw, my favourite TV couple to date got married❤️ it was perfect. I miss them and love them so much.❤️❤️❤️💫

In my opinion isn't about divorce. I think it is talking about the fear that comes up when thinking about getting married because it is forever. Even if you absolutely love the person, it is still a huge decision. I think it is a romantic song because he was being truthful about his feelings. Even though he loves her with all his heart he is afraid of committing and opening his heart to her.

I think you're right. It's about faltering and fear. It's not suppose to be a happy, merry song. The emotions in this song are so raw and really get to you!

Why isn't it appropriate? The song is about a wedding. It's a sad tension because you are ending season finale so something bad is going to happen. In my opinion the song is perfect because of the double meaning of the song and text. They used it to build tension and give you chills after the episode. Something to think about :)

People who talk shit about OTH either haven't watched it, or are pretty darn emotionless. It's easily my favorite series out there on a genre everyone should learn about: 'Life'. Mark Schwahn created a master piece. He knows it, and so do we. I wouldn't be half the person I am without how much I learnt from that series, and I'm nothing but proud admitting that. I sincerely, sincerely wish we'd have more shows that heartfelt, honest and downright lifelike than the mindless crap of nudity and fiction we get on TV nowadays. 

My Sentiments exactly, That show taught me so much. I actually go back to specific episodes to this very day to kinda help guide me in certain life situations.

One Tree Hill where to begin... The characters, great quotations, epic scenes and epic lines. The music ! I'm glad to see that other people share my infinite love for this truly amazing show. If you haven't watched it don't critize it. Now it cannot please everyone but seriously no other TV series made me discover so many songs and artists I gladly share with my friends. I can't wait to visit Wilmington, NC.
