by far my favorite napalm death song. i love napalm deaths grindcore stuff a lot but yet this song resonates with me the most. they really went out on a limb with this song but they pulled it off.

Is incredible how they're able to make a great song as a grindcore band using elements from ballad, pop, gothic, metal, post rock and atmospheric. I love it when metal bands do things like that, specially more extreme metal bands, since we're used to just hearing one type of sound from most of them.

Been listening to grind and death metal since late 80s and napalm has never been the same music as cannibal in any way except I guess that they both use guttural vocals

yeap which perfectly encompasses why you don't always need guitairs or screeching vocals to make a badass metal song.alot of metal to me is about feel and atmosphere more than anything and the spoken word approach to this track makes it all the more immense.in fact i'd go out on a limb and say this is my favorite track on the album because it's just so out there and hypnotic like you said.i compare the vocals on this song to a less vocally processed godflesh.
