My grocery store I work at stopped playing this about a year ago. Tbh I kinda miss it. Yeah the song sucks though. Kinda nostalgic when I hear this song because I think of all my old friends who quit their jobs at the store and this reminds me of the good times we had closing and bagging groceries together.

This is played by the In Store Audio Network, at Kroger (also other stores such as Meijer subscribe to their bottom-of-the-barrel crappy playlist, probably because it is cheaper than Pandora or Sirius or whatever) and I am SICK SICK SICK of hearing it about every 3 to 6 hours!!!! The whiny, shrill, moaning voice, the shrieks, the way-over-the-top use of multiple voice audio clips/tracks/overdubs, the stupid lyrics, the "isn't this song i am singing so COOL and HIP???" type of vibe. No , sorry, guys, it stinks. Should be a prime candidate for non-stop 24hr audio music torture, as actually practiced in some third world countries.

no hate to mutemath or anything, but this song drove me to the brink of insanity every time i had work. one time during my 9 hour shift, it played 3 times. i thought it was a prank but who would be so cruel? there was one time where i had been having a pretty rough shift so far and our little rush had ended. i was cooling down and venting to my coworker and suddenly it started playing. i was brought to tears out of frustration. it kinda became my thing, to be so furious upon hearing this song, you could see me tense up. my coworkers called it my favorite song because they KNEW how much i hated it. we called it the figure it out song. whenever i heard those little electronic beats and that ridiculous yell at the beginning, my blood pressure skyrocketed and i was instantly in a bad mood. i don't work there anymore.

But you should give this band another try, their older albums are great, also, the latest EP is really good if you’re into alternative/electronic music, the songwriting is a lot better but please don’t judge them by just one song, they are better than this
