Honestly, I was expecting a lot more of this on the album. A lot more of all 3 singers letting their own distinct sound shine through, in all of their equal glories. Waylon's combination of haunting melodious bravado, and throat scratching yells, J-Mann's signature mumbles and in your face screams, and Jeff's distinct yelling. Although I would've hoped for him to have his melodious side shine through, as well. But still...if that's all that's missing, I call it a win.

J man and nothing play off each other perfectly. J mans low growl and raps with nothings high singing is perfection.

Never got on the whole Waylon train. Shit is weak in comparison to everything else Mushroomhead has done.

G Thegrimreaper Gravy died and that's why the albums is called "The Righteous and The Butterfly" because Gravy was known as JJ Righteous off stage. I love Waylon because I thought his melodies were beautiful, but we could also make them insanely disturbing, like in 12 Hundred and Simple Survival.

I will agree with what you said about J-man and Nothing, and to a certain degree I agree that adding Waylon was overdoing it. Even though Our Apologies, this song, and QWERTY (I had no idea that the opening of the song was him til I saw a performance and the music video) were great songs and he felt right at home, a lot of the other ones he was kinda drowned out or pushed to the side like in Out of My Mind.

Umm Gravy is still alive and well. JJ was a different person and did indeed pass away. I've been a fan of this band from the start and have seen every line up possible over the years. Check out Kriadiaz, Gravy's new band and let me know how it's going for him in the afterlife. Gravy= Dave Felton aka Skinnys brother.

fuck yeah!!!!! love this song so FUCKIN'much! it has so much meaning to me. I was lucky enough to be a volunteer for their May 6th benefit show for Save 22 at the Carroll county Fairgrounds. and this was the last song they played.

Not to bust your bubble but some can't live through it and can't take their life Saying "Take by the throat and say I'll live through this is!" Is easy to say and sometimes impossible to achieve in the action cause everyone's brain is different in the way it works. But I do love the personality of the prechorus but the verse is telling a story of someone who's explaining that it isn't as easy cause you can take someone with similar experience or the exact experience in some cases and still have a different opinion cause the person may be the opposite gender and say it isn't as bad cause the abuser that abused you was the gender that person was. And vice versa, sorry to ramble but sometimes it isn't as simple when someone who's hasn't been through the same thing tells you that song is all.
