Just found an old mp3 player at my parent's from probably 9 years ago. This was the first song that played when I turned it on.

Somehow their music reminds me of Cormac McCarthy's novels, especially What will survive... And In bocca al lupe.

I love this album, as well as "In Bocca Al Lupe"  This is not a recent album.  Love it now, and I loved it 10 years ago.

Now that is what a true Devil should do. He lets you hunt him for 30 years and then, when you return to your home, he makes your sweet love kill you. Take note Hollywood.

This is great.Whenever I get drunk I always want to listen to this song... There is something there I can't explain.

@almosthuman8 to be fair my chemical romance was a much different band back then. Both bands went on to larger labels, it was called eyeball records and no papa roach was not on it, but a lot of good bands were

this and killbot 2000, all time favorite MBD songs.

They had a keyboardist last year at Asbury Lanes when I saw'em.

I wish they would have continued writing music the way they sounded on this album. I loved Like The Exorcist, but more Break Dancing, but this album was just incredible. I swear I listened to it for about a year and a half straight. In Bocca Al Lupo was good. Some songs sounded kind of like Johnny Cash-ish, and some sounded kind of pirate-y. I haven't been able to get into their newer albums nearly as much, though.

I loved this band before he changed his voice and became a johnny cash impersonator

@soothsayer1985 Actually the singer from My Chemical Romance sings on the first track of this album Devil in Mexico, don't get me wrong I don't listen to them either, just saying, maybe that's why it pops up. The mighty William Elliott Whitmore sings on this song, if you haven't heard check him out, he's great, but don't expect it to sound like this, 'cause it's way different. He's the only artist I've seen live more times than MbD.

They haven't had the keyboardist for years though, unfortunately :( He left to finish his art degree.

@terminatorgir They're a hell of a lot better live. You should see 'em, I say. The tickets were cheap enough over here. The country comes out a little bit more live, but in a good way. Like Cash-reminiscent, maybe, but with more rock 'n such.

@ZombinaVonTease13 They used to be on the same label as MCR. I can't say for sure if Papa Roach was on it or not. I'm glad they left it, personally.

probably my favorite band of all time. southern turn of the century gothic rock. you won't find anything like it out there. if you like this, listen to it all. they don't have a bad song.
