Moody Blues, The - Mike's Number One Lyrics

I want to tell you something
You might like to know
There's gonna be a happening
Do you know? Do you know?

Listen all you people
Reaping what you sow
There's gonna be a happening
Will you go? Will you go?

We've all started something
And it's begun to show
We're gonna see the glory
And we'll know, and we'll glow

Now isn't the time
We've got to make up all our minds
To open our eyes, tell no more lies
All the world is waiting for a sunrise
All the world is waiting for a sunrise

I want to tell you something

You might like to know
There's gonna be a happening
Do you know? Do you know?

Listen all you people
Reaping what you sow
There's gonna be a happening
Will you go? Will you go?

We've all started something
And it's begun to show
We're gonna see the glory
And we'll know

We've all started something
And it's begun to show
We're gonna see the glory
And we'll know

Moody Blues, The Mike's Number One Comments

Beautiful song, but wrong album. I can list all the songs from Question of Balance:

    1. Question
    2. How Is It (We Are Here)
    3. The Tide Rushes In
    4. Don't You Feel Small?
    5. The Tortoisse And The Hare
    6. It's Up To You
    7. The Minstrel's Song
    8. Dawning Is The Day
    9. Melancholy Man
    10. The Balance

Mike's Number One is not on that album.

Mike Pinder was the Mellotron genius who gave the Moody Blues that unique sound, like no other band, at least in the 60's and 70's. Without him, they would sound similar to the Beatles, in that era.

Wait a minute, here. They HAVE gone quite a ways, without Mike, including all that stuff that the Moody Blues were still making in the 80's and 90's.

Really like this Mike Pindar song! It would have been a great b-side to a single at the very least from The Question of Balance era!
