Moody Blues, The - I Really Haven't Got The Time Lyrics

You want me to ride
In your car outside
Spend some time with you
Just an hour or two

But I really,
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
I really
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
I really haven't got the time

I'm a busy man
Workin' when I can
I got no time to lend
I got no time, time to spend

Oh no, I really
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
Oh no, I really
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
I really haven't got the time

(Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!)

I really
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
Oh no, I really
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
I really haven't got the time

Workin' nine 'til five
Got to stay alive
(I've got to stay alive)
Find somebody who
(Go find somebody who)
Got some time for you
(Who's got the time for you)

But I really
No, no, no, no
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
Oh no, I really
No, no, no, no
I really haven't
I really haven't got the time
I really haven't got the time

Really haven't got the time
(Really haven't got time)

  1. R.... D....

    Justin......... X

  2. p.... A....

Is this the only live show with Rod Clarke in the line-up?

  3. g.... ....

Ponder was without equal on a keyboard until Tony Banks came along.

  4. S.... K....

Thank goodness Justin and John came along.

  5. C.... B....

This is a bonus track on the re-issue of Days Of Future Passed.
I can imagine Paul McCartney singing this, its like one of his whimsical tunes.

Amazing how little the cameraman focused on the lead singer ( Mike Pinder )
I guess he really hadn't got the time!

  6. R.... S....

Mike said McCartney offered him and Denny his song "Those Were The Days" first... Paul really liked Denny...

  7. C.... N....

Mikey on the 88's! Jaunty! Justin and John, 'watching and waiting'...(HA !) ....somewhere !!

  8. s.... s....

It's a departure from the sound they're famous for, but I REALLY like this song (especially this version). Denny looks like a teenager. I wonder if Epstein was in the picture then?

  9. B.... ....

Another song the original Moodies have never received any royalties for - thank you very much Decca Records for being there for the band - NOT

  10. L.... C....

Vaya, no conocía esta faceta de The Moody Blues, buen rockanrolito.

  11. S.... ....

    27-08-1966. :)

  12. C.... W....

    Style seems 63-64-ish...

    C.... W....

With Rod Clark in the line-up, this is in Summer 1966.

    C.... W....

    sounds like a Beatles song
