Songs like this, with the guy she’s crazy over, show why nice guys finish last with women and why men
realized belatedly that feminism was such a lie.
These are the guys who get the women ( Car On a Hill), and JM knew it. Also, Court and Spark lyrics, the same.
And then Joni did songs like Harry’s House, Edith and the Kingpin.
A lot of conflict in Joni’s songs and women thinking back and forth like this shows how a lot of guys
