Minus The Bear - Lemurs, Man. Lemurs Lyrics

Hands gorgeous
Rollin' her cigarette
Thumbs and forefingers
Rollin' tobacco in the paper
She licks the paper slow twice
Putting it all together

Hands gorgeous
Holding a vodka drink
Smoking a cigarette
She's walking up to me
She licks the paper slow twice
Putting it all together

Maybe in her purse, a light
(She licks the paper slow twice)
To find a matchbook
(Twice)
To light her smoke
Look at those lips

Roll one for me
Let's drink all night

    Highschool dayz were the best especially when you were listening to great music like this

  3. M.... J....

    A family friend calls me Roll One. He still burns at 60 and can roll a massive blunt/joint. He's never had breathing or lung problems and he told his doctor it was because he quit smoking cigarettes and started smoking weed full time.

  4. J.... ....

    Roll one for me and let's drink all night.

  5. C.... L....

    Sick! hey guess what i listen to pop, rap, metal, blues, prog, alternative. Cant we all just like what we like and accept the fact that people have different musical taste, as they do with every other aspect in life :)

  6. L.... P....

    category: Pets & animals lol

  7. A.... C....

  8. T.... ....

    can people not bash on other styles of music? everyone put at least some part of their soul into their music. if you're not a fan of a style of genre, there's no need to preach on how much you dislike it and how this style is better. everyone has their own preferences. granted that few musicians are far more talented and complex(and put more of their soul and self into it), I'm sure Minus the Bear wouldn't want their fans to bash others. listen to what you chose and love it. spread only love guys.

  10. A.... D....

    Roll one for me

  11. W.... D....

    I'm gonna dredge this comment up just to say "Hah! U got trolled zo gud."

  12. M.... A....

    some old MTB songs kind of remind me of Brand New. and I fuckin love Brand New.

  13. L.... S....

    lyrics are terrible? As an Elliott Smith junkie, I can say that I find it odd that you can't dig this. Really, there's some great stuff in these songs. Michio's death drive. Hooray. Spritz!!! Spritz!!! all have fantastic imagery

  14. a.... ....

    UV COURZ IM SERIUS

  15. a.... ....

    R U YU SO STOOPID MAN YUR JUS A H8R

  16. G.... R....

    They've wrong fairly mainstream since the time that comment was made man.

  17. u.... ....

    Because there lyrics don't need extreme dissection doesn't mean the lyrics are terrible. The lyrics paint a very vivid image the head, so I give them a ten in that area. There might not be very much complication to the actual words, but think of the possible story behind this girl that he is describing; you may get where I'm getting at, if you do.

  18. A.... N....

    same dude. summer and mtb go hand in hand

  19. t.... ....

    You know minus the bear isnt the only band that sounds like this.... Colossal, pennies, colour, them, roaring twenties, etc. Many bands sound like this

  20. b.... ....

    blah, who fucking cares? its minus the bear, grab a beer/smoke/cig and enjoy the awesome instrumentation. nobody gives a shit that the lyrics dont hold up to bob dylan.

  21. S.... ....

    @BobbyGeneva357112 What you don't understand is that the lyrics fit the music. They might not be any significant when read alone, but the music adds meaning and emotion to them unlike anything anywhere else.
    Another thing, if you don't like them, you really don't have to listen to them or comment. Nobody's forcing you to.

  22. c.... ....

    why would you ever dislike this! i swear! i hope those two die in a bus fire.
    ...well thats kinda harsh, i wouldnt wish that on anyone, im sorry. peace, and love.

  23. M.... D....

    A big FUCK YOU to whoever disliked this!!

  24. T.... A....

    @usaidwatQUESTIONMARK - who cares

  25. P.... ....

    @JORDANEast it's the time that we live in...this bad in a different era (i.e the 60's) coulda been one of the greats

  26. B.... ....

    shut the fuck up and listen to this music.

  27. d.... ....

    @JORDANEast they will never be forgotten, one day I'll give my iPod and my minus the bear t-shirt to my son, and tell him to do the same when he has a son, and even long into the future, there will always be at least one guy wearing around a minus the bear shirt and listening to them on his iPod

  28. s.... ....

    @JORDANEast After OMNI it seems like mtb has gotten even bigger. Their ten Year anniversary tour is on soon, hope I get to go :D

  29. p.... ....

    but if they weren't left out, they'd be like soulja boy, mainstream. keep it hipster.

  30. J.... W....

    @MuIdoon But here we all are still listen to this kick ass band. I am so glad I searched beyond "Knights" from saints Row. I'll be listening to "Is that a ninja up there!!!" next. Dueces.

  31. g.... ....

    @JORDANEast very wrong

  32. B.... D....

    @usaidwatQUESTIONMARK why would you want them to get popular..,

  33. P.... M....

    @JORDANEast But the beauty of it all is that it blesses the ears of true music aficionados. The rest just miss out.

  34. C.... C....

    @JORDANEast i still tell my friends hey is that a ninja up there, shits changing man, indie is the new pop

  35. M.... C....

    Most epic song of all time....
    OF ALL TIME!!!

  36. E.... S....

    @JORDANEast History might........But i won't.

  37. E.... F....

    this band i scool, check out PLUG PLUG from Peru

  38. S.... G....

    @TonyisManic because of their progressive drug laws, no doubt. =D

  39. g.... ....

    @JORDANEast actually maybe not a lot of remarkable artists don't get the fame they deserve until after death like Emily Dickinson, Vincent Van Gogh, and others. They were as indie as it get's because they kept it to themselves.

  40. A.... ....

    beautiful, beautiful band

  41. A.... W....

    @JORDANEast I feel sorry for the suckas that wont get to know 'em

  42. g.... ....

    @johnproyal i love omni- i still do not find it anywhere near commercial-

  43. T.... ....

    Seattle produces the best musicians.

  44. j.... ....

    @fezzappa Dead. Not killer.

  45. j.... ....

    @peterjussi Its the fact that going mainstream is synonymous with selling out, what makes fans scared. Minus the Bear don't make music like this anymore, because they want to sell more albums. Same with the Killers (what the fuck is human) and Modest Mouse (The popularity of Float On brought on the pop album, We Were Dead..., which wasn't nearly as good or driven as albums before that were.)

    Don't get me wrong, Minus the Bear is my favorite band, but what the fuck is their new album?

  46. m.... ....

    @JORDANEast Not the true fans.

  47. A.... M....

    @scolley757 phatty?

  48. A.... M....

    @peterjussi FUCKIN A!!

  49. r.... ....

    all three of the ppl that guy named sucks

  50. p.... ....

    I hate when people say they would rather have their favorite bands not go mainstream. Except for the pressure on the band to change, going mainstream is GOOD. GET GOOD MUSIC OUT THERE. Its like some people like feeling "different" because they listen to music nobody else does, and they treat it like its their possesion. That is why (to a small degree) why these bands arent more successful. To a much larger degree, mainstream music sucks because people dont think for themselves anymore.

  51. E.... S....

    @scolley757 fat?

  52. J.... M....

    @scolley757 wow that's sick bro nobody wants to imagine that

  53. J.... M....

    you're right, but i'm pretty sure since they know they're an indie band that they dont much care about taking a place in history

    i bet they get all the satisfaction in the world when a single fan lets them know they they've created an impact in at least one life

  54. r.... ....

    EPIC ENDING XD

  55. M.... ....

    roll one for me

  56. A.... ....

    @JORDANEast agreed. I don't really care about history though, im just glad I get to hear them

  57. J.... ....

    Unfortunately I don't think they will. The fact that they are indie limits the audience that they can realistically attract. They may live on in our hearts and minds forever, but I think that as the years go by history will forget about the small indie band from Seattle, Washington.

  58. V.... ....

    Just pop on some One : Fifteen for a happy medium :D

    (Alex and Erin's "side project" lol)

  59. u.... ....

    i agree....everybody's worried about the Miley Cyrus' and Britney Spears and Soulja Boys of the day....which leaves out all the amazing bands, such as the amazing MINUS THE BEAR.....UGH

  60. A.... ....

    Its not just the south man, this country is being overtaken by shitty autotone rap. I love underground hiphop but that shit has soul and rythem. This new rap shit sucks. Minus the bear is always a better choice

  61. t.... ....

    seems like we all need to get together and play this at a party lol.

    I go to school in the south, and EVERY party is just, the new, radio rap songs. If I put this one, people would leave. Fucking lame

  62. S.... ....

    Thank you so much!. Shitty rap fucking pisses me off. It's the same fucking song and beat over and over again. lol.

  63. A.... ....

    thats how I feel but every time I put it on at a party people just wanna listen to shitty rap

  64. S.... ....

    Orgasmic. Especially at parties lol. Yes or No? XD

  65. u.... ....

    gawd.....amazing......
